Rant are a group of young and very talented performers who have used their own flair and skills to workout some wonderful arrangements to all sorts of music from Celtic to Russian to Classical bits and lots more. The ease in which they do this is a credit to them and their obvious love of the music and performing. I will book them again with anticipation and without hesitation.
-Mel Robertson, Melbourne Folk Club
With a repertoire incorporating European folk, contemporary pop, 20th Century classical and even music theatre, RANT is a band whose musical imagination transcends the parameters of the Celtic tradition in which they formed.
Their debut album, In a Moment (2009), a collection of original compositions and arrangements, has been received with much acclaim at festivals throughout Victoria and New South Wales and has been given airplay on several regional radio stations.
