Coming from Saint-Ghislain in Belgium, Raphaël Angelini had a happy childhood with his family and friends. At the age of ten, he gave his first piano concert and at that moment, his astonishing artistic sensitivity was already evident.
Toward the age of fifteen, he became one of the youngest students to pass the admissions exam at the local Conservatory. He began to write numerous songs which he played regularly during evenings spent in company with friends.
At the Brussels’ Conservatory in 1994, he met the great Russian pianist Mikhaïl Faerman, who accepted him as a student in his class. After eight years of persistent study, Raphaël Angelini meritoriously received a master’s degree in recognition of his exceptional talent. The first piano recitals resulted in a standing ovation at the conclusion of his performances. His repertoire included everything from Bach to Morricone and beyond.
With the talented comedian and childhood friend, Alessandro Bevilacqua, he founded "LES RAFALES" Duet in 2003, which included performances that revealed a pleasant mixture of humor and music. Written especially for this occasion, the songs of Raphaël Angelini fascinated his audience with an emotionally involved touch, raising the public's enthusiasm in each performance by the poetic, funny and melancholic nature of the music.
The growing success of his duet was the catalyst that caused the media to show great interest, resulting in numerous interviews on television and radio. In 2007, with his friends, he created his own independent music label, PROMANIA ASBL, for the production of his first album, "Prémices".
His Italian heritage, being a great inspiration, and his pride in the history and influential diversity of Italian culture, are the combined creative source of this versatile artist who deeply moves human souls by his message and the variety of his music.
