Rapid Fire has been playing together since March 2008. They play a mix of rock and heavy metal tunes including covers and original songs.
Rapid Fire has played at local schools, private parties, local coffee shops, fundraisers and carnivals, the Catalyst, Brookdale Inn and Spa, Santa Cruz Teen Center, Santa Cruz Center for Performing Arts, Britannia Arms, Nickel City, the 418 Project, and the Venue, and is actively booking shows.
The band produced their first 7-song demo CD in August 2008, and a demo CD of original songs in March 2009.
Rapid Fire was the winner of the 2009 Santa Cruz Public Library Teen Battle of the Bands.
