Blackest Rainbow Records	Oct 21 2007 10:58 AM VANISHING VOICE are a psychedelic jam band from Brooklyn, USA and are frequent players with Wooden Wand. They have frequented members of Magik markers, Meneguar and Dead Machines. This show is a duo performance of two long term key members, G Lucas Crane and Heidi Diehl - who also play in Time Life, Shepherds and Non Horse. One of only three UK shows! HUSH ARBORS has developed through many stages, from featuring members of Sunburned and Wooden Wand, but is essentially Keith Wood, who is curreently performing with an ozzie named Leon. Psychedelic duel guitar guitar bliss. Keith is also a member of bands like Six Organs of Admitance, Wooden Wand and Sunburned Hand of the Man. Keith has also had split 7"s with Voice of the Seven Woods and Wooden Wand.

WHITEMICE Providence, Rhode Island's / Load Record's WhiteMice are a three piece - bass, drums and oscillator - that generate enough round and square wave tones to bring a bonanza bus of nuns three feet off the ground. Combining the menacing posture of black metal with blistering oscillator attack is nothing new, but the band does dress like lab butchered whitemice when playing live. Past shows and tours have seen the band play with entertainers such as Dropdead, Coughs and Lightning Bolt - this should give you an idea these furry weirdos nibble from heavy blocks. Blackest Rainbow Records	Jun 25 2007 6:19 PM Blackest Rainbow and Lola and the Cartwheels Present: MIKA MIKO + NO AGE + LOVVERS Wednesday 27th June The Red House, Solly Street, Sheffield £5 - 8PM MIKA MIKO is an underground youth punk / noise band formed in 2003 in Los Angeles, featuring Jennifer Clavin, Jenna Thornhill, Michelle Suarez, Jessica Clavin and Kate Hall. Pounding their way through interesting, fast, pop songs that recall Black Flag, X-Ray Spex, The Slits or The Germs with a fresh flare of anxiousness, they've gained a rabid local following for their frenetic live performances which emulate being at a party and often take place at parties. After several self-releases and an eponymous 7" for NO AGE's Post Present Medium imprint, Mika Miko put out their first full-length 'C.Y.S.L.A.B.F' in the summer of 2006 - a joint release by PPM, Kill Rock Stars and Deleted Art. Entrenched in LA's DIY scene, the band volunteer at legendary all-ages club The Smell. NO AGE is Randy and Dean who used to play in the short lived legenday post hardcore trio WIVES. Blackest Rainbow and Singing Knives Present: THE SKATERS + TIGHT MEAT DUO + HEATHER LEIGH MURRAY Mon 18th June The Red House, Solly Street, Sheffield £5 - 8pm THE SKATERS remain to be one of the most underground, elusive and best acts in the current explosion of experimental 'noise' music. The Skaters are the duo of James Ferraro and Spencer Clark from San Francisco. The music these two create is insane, they use percussion, fucked amps and sketchy guitars, but essentially the key to the sheer quality of The Skaters sound is their vocals. Totally weirded out looped voices, hyper and deranged. This makes The Skaters probably my favourite, and many others, 'noise' act right now. They recently played Thurston Moore's Nightmare Before Christmas ATP and have had records out on Humbug, Pseudo Arcana, and a bunch of self released stuff - be quick if you want any of these, as their material always goes out of print extremly fast! TIGHT MEAT DUO is the new duo of free drummer ALEX NEILSON and undergroud musics hardest working record shop owner DAVID KEENAN. Totally ecstatic free blurt for drums and saxaphone. Recently played for us before at The Furniture Makers to a superb reaction! New record has just been releases on Bo Weavil. HEATHER LEIGH MURRAY has spent years in underground music and worked with people such as THURSTON MOORE, CORSANO and MATTHEW BOWYER as well as played in CHARALAMBIDES, ASH CASTLES ON THE GHOST COAST and SCORCES.
