Raptor Avatar is the blog/band name of Sam Yurick, an LA-based writer/musician/artist. Currently, he raps over chopped up indie stuff and whatever seems useful from garage band. A year from now, he may be playing something entirely diferent. Basically, he is another white dude with feelings, an untrained voice, and a tendency to be too clever by half. He generally favors things that are fast, dense, and psychotic/heartfelt.
His current project is a spiral-novel/ongoing mixtape called "Infinite Ammo." When he's productive, there's a new song every two weeks. When he's lazy, he posts about whatever peters into his line of sight.
sweet man! we really liked the write up they did for us and glad if got you to listen and order the album, mailing it out to you tomorrow. thanks again
Damn I wish you were further East. I just moved to Denver, and I'd love to colloborate with you on a film project. Together, our brilliance would have to take us far past the meager roots from which we've ran.
