Bio
Born in 1992 as gothic metal-Band, RAPTURE changed their style drastically with the addition of guitarist Eric and Drummer Willy in 1998 to a funky death-thrash-whatever-band. 2002 saw the addition of the brutal metal-style gutarist max as well as new drummer Tommy who likes to destroy everything, especially his head. also, bassist Christoph joined RAPTURE, because they urgently needed a diva in the band. In 2005 Max left the band, because he moved away. Soon a new guitarist was found, the young and ridiculously talented guitarist Martin joined RAPTURE. To be guided into discipline and seriousity the guys asked the great red Alexandra to join them with her whipping voice - that happened in late 2006. Now, RAPTURE is freaky as always, a crazy liveband, with lots of energy and raw power. -

Rock and Metal-Bands. Yes, that's true! Bands as: the haunted, meshuggah, entombed, cephalic carnage, isis, neurosis, mastodon, burst, buried inside, the dillinger escape plan, morbid angel, at the gates, napalm death, dream theater, godflesh, pelican, unsane.... the list is endless. and no, you don't hear most of these bands in our music. and if you hear them, they're of course much better then us. -
