About me: Raqs La’Majali's expression of movement stems from the love and respect they have for traditional cultures. Their eclectic vibe is the fusion of Jazz, Modern, West African, North African, East Indian, Caribbean and Oriental creating a dynamic and energetic form celebrating the joy of movement.
Raqs La'Majali is currently artist in residence @ The Center for Modern Dance Education in Hackensack, New Jersey and can be found teaching and performing at various venues.
Lateefah and Marieme are guided by The Light, driven by Passion, gifted with Grace and nurtured through Love....simply, they just wanna DANCE!

Gorgeous Lateefah, Marieme & Janille...your spirits lift me ALWAYS...but your dancing makes my heart SING!!! Your music, choreography, presentation is ALWAYS spot on and emotionally charged to the point where I find it hard to stay in my chair and watch...I want to leap to my feet and cheer you on!!! What a blessing to spend time with you all at Friday's show! I had SOOOooooo much fun and LOVED shredding the dance floor with you after! O-M-G. You TOTALLY blew the roof off the show on Sunday. You can't see me right now...but I'm standing and applauding at my desk... Truly a superb performance by three of the nicest, coolest, most beautiful dames in NJ Dance!!! I look forward to seeing you all again very soon!!!
