The Raquellos' debut, Teeth of the Wind, carefully mixes folk rock, sea shanties, and punk rock into a hearty stew. Many of the songs' narratives take place in the world surrounding early 19th century Northtown, a fictional village situated on the coast of Maine. Infused with the sailor's restless spirit, Teeth of the Wind takes the listener through a winding tale of adventure and heartbreak on the high seas.
the rest of the tour went very well, though our show with you guys was for sure one of the highlights! we will definitely have to play together again in the future. how was your atlanta show?
How do we rock thee? Let us count the ways. We rock thee to the depth and breadth and height our souls can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace. We rock thee to the level of everyday's Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light. We rock thee freely, as men strive for Right; We rock thee purely, as they turn from Praise. We rock thee with a passion put to use In our old griefs, and with our childhoods' faith. We rock thee with a beat we seemed to lose With our lost picks, --- we rock thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all our lives! --- and, if God choose, We shall but rock thee better after death.
