About me: RaRaRa are promoters based in Bristol UK. We're putting on the kind of nights we want to watch ourselves which means thoughtfully considered line-ups with no more than three bands playing per night. Quality music over profit is the ethos that spurs us on.
We realise how this is quite obviously automated and you will probably consider it as spam and ignore it.. but if you are feeling the need for a some fresh new music please visit our page and give our new EP a listen. We've worked really hard on it and had some excellent feedback so far and would love to hear what you guys think.

BROKEN ARM - four dudes from Leeds making garage-rock filled with killer bozo riffs. Their first Bristol show and part of their first tour, they will have their brand new debut EP available at the show, which has come out on Liverpool's Sea records. Members of Broken Arm have previously been in Sailors (gringo), Static Waves, Woman (sea) and Like a Kind of Matador (tumult). Now that's pedigree.
FRINGES - new band from Bristol with members of Soeza, Line, Headfall and ex-Scarecrows and ex-Murder of Rosa Luxemburg. More sweet pedigree. A tight, jagged, uncluttered, direct sorta sound made by clean-cut squares and scruffy slacks. They are a quartet, with two guitars, saxophone and drums, they keep it instrumental.
COREY ORBISON - play abrasive, messy, short-sharp, stop-start songs about our cold cold world. Members also in Headfall and involved with the very excellent Local Kid thing. Check the new tracks up on their myspace!

This highly acclaimed Toronto/London based group create blissed out instrumental music reminiscent of the late Spacemen 3/early Spiritualized period. Described as "classical music for shoegazers" they combine swirling guitars and violins which envelop the listener totally. Their second LP "Come Hell Or High Water" is out later this year.
This Danish duo are over on a mini tour of the UK so catch them while you can. They layer crystalline guitars, synthesisers and sugar sweet vocals for the perfect dreampop experience. Their blurred shoegaze sound can be compared to Lush and My Bloody Valentine at times with just a dash of Ulrich. Yum.
As featured on Invada's "The Secret Garden" compilation. This is West country based PFS's debut gig and we're really excited. Their sound touches on the finest moments of Ride and Slowdive whilst pushing the limits of the genre. Dreamy, epic and emotional this first ever live appearance will be a special experience.
