In the central area of New Jersey, somewhere between Widthstown and Expensivehold, lies the unlikely and thoroughly unusual city of Sore Bottom, properly titled, Sore Bottom City. It is here where our story takes place. It is within the Sweet Booty apartment complex where we are introduced to the straight, homophobic, patriotic, Indian and foul mouthed Rasheem and the white, hair designing, openly gay and excitable Ramphair.
But thats not all. You will also be introduced to the very mysterious and exotic Asian character Wong Dong. And there is also an appearance made by Ramphairs boyfriend Rob. Rob is big, African-American and being that he is Ramphairs boyfriend, obviously gay.
The first episode, What American Wet Dreams May Come, introduces these characters and gives you a sense of the adult humor and atmosphere of the show. The two main characters of the show, Rasheem and Ramphair are a strange pairing as you can imagine. Their tastes and interests are certainly not the same. And Wong Dong is the most unusual character you will meet. Rasheem and Ramphair are as unsure what he is up to as much as you the viewer will be. Rob is one big African-American gay guy who makes a fine cameo in episode one.
This is an introductory episode and so of course it is just meant for you to start to familiarize yourselves with the characters and their motivations. You will not figure everything out and are not supposed to. It is just the beginning of hopefully a long and memorable excursion into the fantastically funny vision that is Rasheem and Ramphair.
