A licensed esthetician and certified makeup artist since 2002, Rashida B. launched her eponymous Eyebrow Grooming Studio The B Spot Chicago in 2005. The B Spot Chicago remains Chicagoland’s only dedicated eyebrow grooming studio. As a trendsetter Rashida B., is responsible for raising the bar by ushering in a little Hollywood to the windy city with her private beauty enclave. Ms. B. was also responsible for bringing the lash extension craze to Chicago working with Lavish Lashes products to create her lush lash creations. Her lash prowess earned The B Spot Chicago title of one of the countries top lash salons by Vogue magazine in addition to winner of DailyCandy Sweetest Things '08 (Miami - touch.
Her no-wax approach to eyebrow grooming has also been hailed in InStyle, Lucky and Allure magazines

Though multi-talented this beauty dynamo has become synonymous with B-R-O-W-S. When asked why she chose to specialize in brows. Rashida responded that, “Short of plastic surgery having your brows properly groomed is the one sure fire way short of plastic surgery to update and enhance your look and take years off your appearance. Hollywood starlets have their thousand dollar a day personal stylists, fitness gurus and $600.00 haircuts, but every girl, every woman can have an eyebrow guru.”

Traveling cross country to N.Y., L.A. and Miami attending workshops and advanced training sessions is how this beauty maverick stays on the cutting edge of quickly evolving beauty trends.

In addition to an Esthetics diploma from the world renown Pivot Point Academy, and a makeup artistry certificate from Columbia College in Chicago, her credentials include several advanced skincare certifications from the Dermal Institute considered one of the country’s most prestigious institutions for post-secondary skincare studies, both a bridal makeup artistry and hair styling for makeup artists certifications from Fred Segal Beauty in L.A. and advanced airbrush artistry training from Temptu in NYC considered the front runner in airbrush makeup technology.
