I just wanted to thank you for being out there. I just read your interview in Women's Health; it's at least the 2nd article about you that I've caught where you address your ethnicity- owning all that you are. As an actress myself, I'm often made to feel that I'm "not black enough" to play roles. It helps me to see another ethnic actress not fall into the traps of Hollywood stereotyping. So thank you for being out there and thanks for talking about the stuff that people want to sweep under the carpet!
