Representing the town of Portsmouth in the Nature Island of the Caribbean Dominica W.I. Rogers Gin, aka 'Ras Khaleel' has been on the music locale for 12yrs. He begun the authentic life as a lead vocalist in 1999 with the 'Seramix Band' performing weekly on a French yacht 'Rivage' primarily for European tourists. Ras Khaleel has executed genres such as Soca, Zouk, Kompa, Reggae, just to name a few. In 2004, he composed & recorded his first song 'Is it Forever?' on the band's 'Back on track' album. The band went on to perform on the main stage at the 2004's Annual World Creole Music Festival, with artists such as Carimi & Rupee. … He later, in 2005, co-founded the 'AftaShok Band' performing in that year's annual week long 'Creole in the Park'. In 2009 Ras Khaleel, & local artists like Atunyah, Iriemiah & others, opened for T.O.K @Heat Fest 2K8. .… Due to the swivels of life, he now resides in NY, where his love for music remains extraordinary. While in NYC, Ras Khaleel performed as a back up vocalist for 'Phil Nessy & D'cuttin Edge', while building a fan base and perfecting new tracks such as 'One Big Load' & 'Tink aBout the Yutes'. Presently, he's a co-founder of the 'Creation Band'; Neil P. (Lead Guitar), Devon D. (Drums), Ras Khaleel (Lead Vocals). I Rogers S. Gin. started singing from eva since :) Afta nuff amateur performances in the bath and round Idrens, it was time for a rise.

Though the system offer little to no chance, dignity, Jah pull I thru !!! Got introduced to d Seramix Band where I became their new Lead Vocalist. Reached d milestone in muzik on island, Dominica, performin @ d 7th Annual World Creole Music Festival. d LineUp

Five years 4ward, together with four other prestigious musicians, formed d AftaShok Band n was Lead Vocalist, performing @d 2005 Creole in d Park.

Now, my 1st Solo Album COMING SOOON!.
