There are too many other good Christian movies to list here. And I like some general-market movies too such as the original PBS version of "The Lathe of Heaven" which is one of my all time favorite fiction works. I even like some classical works like Romeo & Juliet (the 1960's version), Othello and MacBeth. I do not like anything that glorifies sinful lifestyles. They can discuss sinful lifestyles but HAVE to portray them the way that the Bible does,(as BAD). And I boycott any movies, music or TV shows that have famous members of cults or false religions starring rolls in them such as scientologists, mormons or muslims, etc. except when it is a documemtary about what is wrong with being one of them and what is bad about such false religious systems.

All of these movies I speak well of on my profile here are all "life changing" movies!

Have you ever wondered where we Abehsawi (Abyssinian) people got our meqomiya (mek-wom-EE-yah - our prayer sticks) from?

They are from the Bible of course and are mentioned in both the old and new testaments! In fact, in ancient Hebrew or Aramaic it was eventually named the "Nehushtan which we are told in 2 Kings 18:4 that the original one was destroyed by Hezekiah because the people had made it into an idol.

So having read the scripture, does it look more familiar now? That is where we get it from. We left Israel for Abyssinian long before the remaining Jews in Israel stopped using the Nehustan. We were seperated and therefore we never stopped using it nor did we worship it as they did back in Israel, which was the WHY they got rid of it. Bete Yahuda Abeshawi (the Abyssinian sect of Judah) never made that particular mistake (as far as I know).

Now 3000 years later the design is often so over-simplified as you see below that some people are not always always able to recognize it as entwined brazen serpants on a stick. But actually I'd prefer to have one like the first one above where you can actually see what the brass head-piece represents 2 entwined serpents because when people see that they always have to stop and ask and I love to tell the story of the meqomiya because it leads into the story of the crucifix so I can tell people the gospel message, because...

My Favorite Foods are Traditional Abyssinian poultry and veggie dishes and also REAL NY PIZZA (forget chain stores!) and other traditional home-style Sicilian foods! Take it from a fat man! Any Pollo Campero near you! They're the best! The only chicken as good as Pioneer used to be!

All of these have excellent food at great prices and they all will FILL you up! You will leave happy and satisfied!

Speaking of which... After reading the book of 1st Kings, How can ANY man of God NOT say:

"CHOOSE TODAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE! GOD OR FLESH! AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD!"

FYI: as a protest against legitimizing the existance of the majority pseudo-jewish cult of rabbinicism which denies the plurality of the one Godhead and which puts Talmud equal or above Tanakh, I never call any person by the title "rabbi" even if they are true Messianic (either original-Messianic or neo-Messianic).

Instead I prefer to and WILL use a more correct hebrew or christian ministerial title, such as Kohan or Nevi or Overseer or Bishop or Priest or Prestor or Pastor or Minister or Deacon or Prophet or Evangelist, etc just as I am the RasNebiyu (the Ge'ez version of the hebrew Rosh-Nevi) for my sect, but I never call any human either father or rabbi or reverend as a title. I believe it is just wrong to do so for more than one scriptural reason.

I ask that any Trinity-believing Messianic clergy please tell me forthright which of the above best suits them to be called among the titles which I am willing to use.
