Ras Slick has a unique style influenced heavily by his rasta kulcha and a mix of reggae and hip hop music to create his own "hip hop reggae" style.
His reggae roots includes classic Jamaican artists such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Beres Hammond and Yellowman and a wide range of old school and new school hip hop artists from LL Cool J and Run DMC to Tupac and NAS plus some R&B from James Brown to Mariah Carey.

This multi-talented Jamaican artist is no stranger to the music industry. He started singing reggae music around the age of 5 and has been growing as a performer ever since. He grew up attending church in Westmoreland Parish Jamaica with his mother singing as a solo act where he began developing his skills. He attended the Georges Plain Primary School of Westmoreland where he sang in many school concerts and shows. From there he went to from Technical High School of Westmoreland where he started advancing more in the local Jamaican music industry by singing at concerts every Friday at school. From there, the popularity he gained inspired him to go into the music studio and start recording his solo project. The first song Ras Slick recorded, ''Still Loving You'' in 2005, showed people how serious his drive and commitment towards music was.
He later began working at the Beaches Resort & Spa (Negril,Jamaica) where he became the Entertainment Coordinator. There he sang, danced and organized recreational activities for people from all over the world. He moved on from there and took as the Entertainment Coordinator at the RIU Tropical Bay ( Negril,Jamaica) and later got promoted to Entertainment Manager and began performing and selling his CDs on the beach to thousands of people.
Since then, people began to hear his CD and he began receiving so much recognition for his music that he was afforded the opportunity to share the same stage with Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Lady saw, Elephant Man and many other top Jamaican musicians and artists. He started his own production company called Mac-Slick productions and he began promoting his solo career where things started to unfold and opportunities became endless. He wrote and recorded the song ''LIFE'' and was touched so greatly it made him realize how music is all about life. Ras Slick currently working on the finishing touches for his upcoming solo project.
With his smooth, silky tones and his sleek moves, he is sure to capture the hearts and minds of all those who hear his music. So make room for the newest Jamaican REGGAE, R&B sensation.....RAS SLICK
