“raster-noton. archiv für ton und nichtton” is meant to be a platform — a network covering the overlapping border areas of pop, art and science. emerged from the fusion of the two labels rastermusic and noton (in 1999) they realize music projects, publications and installation works. common idea behind all releases is an experimental approach — an amalgamation of sound, art and design.

so far the catalogue of the label consists of about 100 releases. most of the projects follow the concept of a series with contributions by very different artists such as, william basinski, alva noto, byetone, coh, ryoji ikeda, ryuichi sakamoto, carl michael von hausswolff, kangding ray, pomassl, snd, frank bretschneider or mika vainio.

In 2001 he released at compilation “Ambient Soho vol. 3” that were published on label Millenium records, UK. After this with succsess he released at “Igloo trax vol. 1” (igloo magazine rec., USA) & “ELKAmpilation” (gizmo-lab rec. Belarus) compilations and produced self-released album "Advanced Tourism". In november Label Foundamental network released album that was written by UNCOU in 2001. As you will see his music is still actual for musiclovers.
