Band Members ..

Fishfry

– Grew up in Chicago learning the blues on the streets. His guitar playing ranges from the more traditional raw one note bending screams to jazz based technical runs.

The Professor

– Brings an acid sound to the band, with flowing slide riffs that provides an ethereal feel to the music complimented by building waves of precise guitar runs that cut through the hard hitting rhythms laid down by the band.

Stickman mo

– Is the band’s Pacific Northwest native. From deep in the old growth forests of the Olympic Peninsula Stickman came to Seattle. With the windy sounds of his cello and the bough bending tones of his bass Stickman provides the roots for any form of traditional folk music. Fishfry discovered Mo playing Asian influenced blues cello at a Sushi Bar.

Tom Thumb on the Drum

– A recent addition to the band Tom Thumb was discovered by Stickman Mo in the parking lot of a Dicks Drive-In. Mo found him desperately gripping his drink in one hand while precariously balancing his fries and tarter on his forearm. It seems that Tom had poked a hole in his drink with his car keys and was using his thumb to close up the hole, knowing the beverage was a necessity for Dicks fare. Tom Thumb on the Drum has brought a heavy sound to RFB while leaving space for space.

..
InfluencesThis sound combines hard hitting Chicago Style blues of Muddy Waters and Buddy Guy with the more contemporary blues jams of the Allman Brothers and North Mississippi All Stars . Additional influences include Santana, Pink Floyd, James Brown, Otis Rush, Albert King and Jimi Hendrix. Muddy Waters cookin' was also a big part of gettin' the big ass sound!!! You can find Muddy's good eats at Muddy's Recipes

OK so we have been nice and pretty so far, but now it is time to get "down & dirty"! Howlin' Houndog & The Infamous Loosers will be playing with our sax player's band Joey "The Saint" and the A-Men at Tiger Lounge down in Georgetown here in Seattle on Saturday Oct 17th.

Joey "The Saint" and the A-men will be serving up the nastiest (but tasteful) "Dirty Blues" and warming up the crowd for the "Bras for the Cause" charity auction to support the fight against Breast Cancer. Then Joey will play with Howlin' Houndog in the Infamous Loosers (along with their full Horn Section!) Shakin' it down all night!

Come give us (and "Bras for the Cause") your support!

See you there!

From heaven above arrives a fascination,
It..s a personal, glory innovation
To be honest, thankfull and true -
Holy night, I trust in you,
cause you give freedom to everyone,
You spend much love and also fun.
I treasure Christmas through the years,
It..s a magic time, which disappears.
But it comes back again and again,
I..m indeed a Christmas - fan.

I wish you and your family a merry christmas
Love & Peace
