Rather Sound Than Safe aka RSTS is Sif and Rasmus Neo.
They met back in 1996 in Copenhagens underground club scene which was one of Europes techno capitals at that time where Rasmus worked as a highly respected dj in all the big clubs and various raves both as an artist but later as organizer together with Sif.
Their love for the music led to the beginning of RSTS which was formed in 2006 together with their own lable Ztudio.
That year Sif started the lyric and vocal process for the forthcoming debute album while Rasmus worked on the arrangements and compositions.
RSTS is best described as a mix of masculine and feminine energy, blending original electronic beats with Sifs deep sexy vocal and lyrics with a higher meaning and wisdom.
Their demo track made it straight into Denmarks National Radio P3 Club.
This achivement was followed up by a top 10 placement on the ADE DJ/TRAX best dance track competion with Rise and Fall at the Amsterdam Dance Event 2007.
The track was also noticed and mentioned by Dancemusic.about.com who placed it on a top 30 for new tracks to keep an eye out for.
