Through years of carefully listening to sound, this is the intentional mishap. Timeless celebration of love, sex, goodtimes gone bad, trial and error, hardships and perseverence.
Ratobasher formed October 1991 in Massachusetts, moved to Oakland, California August 1992, then relocated back to Massachusetts April 1996. Spent time between 1996 and 2002 recording at the Veal Stall home studio, working multiple day jobs, going to tech school and playing in various music projects. Many people have been a part of Ratobasher over the years, live and recorded.
As of 2003 Nathan has been performing and recording with Bob Jordan...thanks. Working on the edge of poverty, Ratobasher has self-released cassettes, cds and appeared on cassette and cd compilations. Ratobasher sound includes found objects, field recordings, various musical instruments, hand tools, machinery, computers, cassette decks, cd players, televisions, radios, spoken word and photographs. This on going project is my main source of meeting interesting people, exchanging ideas and various other forms of social/artistic networking. If you need/want to contact me post a message here or email ratobasher at hotmail dot com...

THANK YOU for burning me those Fields of the Nephilim CDs! I'm being a total insomniac nutcase, packing my stuff at 5AM, and it's great to be listening to this right now. I haven't heard some of these songs in years!
Yeah, man! Non-Whites!! I think the gig was at the Chameleon, as I recall, late '92 or early '93. Does that sound right? Keep on keepin' on, mi bredren. If you come to NYC, drop us a line here at VTH central.
