Rat Town Records started in a small one room apartment in 1992 as a source to help release, promote and distribute records for local punk/hardcore bands. The DIY ethics of the label/distro will remain the driving force behind keeping Rat Town alive. The underground punk/hardcore movement for the lack of a better word has always relied on its own labels/bands/zines etc. to keep going. Rat Town is proud to be a part of this underground scene. With the addition of the web-site and this my-space account to help with promotion and distribution, the label will be taking steps towards reaching a broader range of people around the world. We are dedicated to keeping the prices as low as possible. If you don't see anything you want, get in touch, chances are we can get what you are looking for.
