I miss you, I'm doing well(ish) I dont know why I find it so hard to communicate, I just crawl in a hole. The cancer is what it is.. a waiting game, my back pain has become rather nasty, and there are long periods where I can barely function. We have some roommates now and they are dear friends who help look after me. I was told that in a year I would look back on this and laugh.. well I hope my sense of humor is better than that!
Funny how prideful I am, I never saw myself as the sort, but when my huge victory is that I walked for 15 minutes... using a hiking staff.. well thats just ad.. and I find it hard to take pride in that, even though just a few short weeks ago I couldnt hve done even that. I miss talking on the phone, your voice ignites a part o me. Your just so damned quick and smart, and my pain meds make me slow and dumb.
I'm still gonna hike the grand canyon, I dont care, it might be years after I wanted to originally, but thats what I'm going to do.
However first, I need to make it around the block without pain 8^)

acupuncture does wonders for your hair, too! hahahahaha I really think the whole experience is amazing--I did it twice a week for a full year recently and it made a big difference with my gyn issues. Oooh and just wait till you have an "experience." You'll see...it's quite fascinating
