We've flown Dead Elvis all the way from Disgraceland, Tennesse to play his first ever London gig! To kickstart his European tour the mighty Dead Elvis will play this exclusive UK date before Vamoosing to Basel and Beyond so this really is your only chance to catch the rotten rocker on these shores. He will also be launching his new bone-white 7" on Hoarse Records from this very party...
In honour of the King we've laid down a Dead Vegas theme so dress up to get down vegas style! We wanna see: High Rollers, Fat Cats, Loan Sharks, Mobsters, Dead Showgirls, Magicians, Corpse Brides, Corrupt Croupiers, Circus Freaks, Shabby Hobos and Dr Gonzo & His Attourney.
Supporting Mr Dead will be the devastaingly nassssssssty "blitzkrieg bop" of the homegrown garage band Gin Palace. Expect high-voltage punk blues from these effortlessly ferocious Londoners in their last UK date before heading to SXSW festival in Austin, Texas.
“Its like the White Stripes being beaten up by The Cramps – thrilling, compelling, very loud and utterly unmissable!” - NME
All this will be warmed up with a blues set from Hoarse Record's own growlin' slide-man D-66. If you haven't caught the '66 yet you'll be blown away by his waits-esque gravelly voice and mississippi-slide riffs....
All these astonoshing live acts will be buffered by dj sets from Nasty McQuaid, Chuck Plethora and Rory Moronic spinning the finest in trash blues, rock n roll, garage punk & psychobilly.
The new edition of 'Joy' by David Shrigley has arrived fresh off the presses, and is available now... published by Polite comprises a book of 22 bound postcards including 'Lost Pigeon' and 'Artists Talk About Their Work'
