The band was born in September of 2002 in Natal (RN) - Brazil, with the intention of to complement and to keep lives the Underground scene of your state. With forts characteristics of the Thrash Metal, it has as influences and similar bands as: Sepultura, Obituary, Slayer and other.

Music and aggressive Lyrics, with a proposal clean of showing the true situation, be in the planet, in the daily human or in the religion.

The Band had few changes in the formation, the current has as integral: Clayton Marinho (Guitar and Vocal), Jonathan Molusck (Guitar), Weslley Vayloh (Bass) and Joveson Ribeiro (Drums).

In August of 2006, one week after your memorable presentation in the Festival Dosol, the band came in a festival inside the state, the Rock in PV III, in Pedro Velho/RN's city.

That night the worst thing would happen in the lives of each one that they were present in that show. On that occasion RAVANES had as integral: " Chapula Davis " (Vocal), Clayton Marinho (Guitar), Jonathan Molusck (Guitar), Weslley Vayloh (Bass) and Joveson Ribeiro (Drums).

In the end of the show " Chapula Davis " announced the last music of the night, "TORMENTA", that tragically would be also yours. In an inexplicable way, the until then vocalist Chapula Davis suffered an electric discharge in the chest for the microphone, suffering a heart failure immediately and breathing, getting to die at the place.

Two weeks later, the band decided to stop With your works, but with the relatives' of Chapula Davis support and friends, the remaining of the group decided to give continuity to the effort of the eternal vocal of the RAVANES, but without substituting, the remainders decided to do an adaptation, Clayton Marinho entered in the vocal ones.

Along this year the band made several presentations and they were invited to participate of the Festival Dosol 2007, the local and national critics made several praises and they didn't believe that the band would give the turn so quickly for top, like them they gave.

RAVANES has two recorded albums. "TORMENTA" recorded in the era Chapula Davis, containing five music and the most recent with Clayton Marinho in the vocal ones, called "ESPANTALHO" recorded between June and August of 2007.

RAVANES, making a new Thrash Metal, but with the aggressiveness, weight and speed of the old.
