Katie Leung Returns for HBP
Katie Leung will return in the next Harry Potter film as Harry Potter's love interest. She started filming January of this year. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will be released November 21, 2008.

The First Official Harry Potter Role-Playing Tour
Sophia Cho Chang and many others such as Ashely Hermione Granger, Ryan C. Potter, Draco Rian Malfoy, and many others will be "touring" around several major cities in the United States Spring and Summer 2008. It is time we role-players (a.k.a. "online actors") come out and meet the other great and talented rp-ers of Myspace HPRP.
The Meet 'n Greet will be a great opportunity to talk to the IRL people behind the characters and ask questions, and also it is a great networking and photo opp. Of course, we can also discuss major Harry Potter issues (the new book and upcoming movie).

Happy Birthday Katie Leung!
Katie Leung turns 20 years old today. She is the lucky rabbit and I can't wait until her next birthday, which is going to be August 8, 2008. In other words, it will be 08-08-08. In the Chinese culture the number 8 is very lucky. It means good fortune and prosperity. So go Katie Leung!

Katie Leung Rocks Runway Fashions
Harry Potter star Katie Leung, aka Cho Chang, rocked a couple of runway fashions at the premiere and after-party of Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix in London, UK on Tuesday. The premiere took place at Odeon Leicester Square, the after-party took place at the Old Billingsgate Market.
Katie, 19, donned a gold version of the Lanvin Spring 2007 runway look with a simpler neckline. The British-Chinese actress finished off her look with a black hard-case clutch and Christian Louboutin pumps.
To the after-party, Katie paired her Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2007 dress with and black ankle heels.

Istanbul Visit:
Just recently, Katie Leung and the Phelp twins were in Istanbul for the Order of the Phoenix premeire and a photoshoot. Katie sure looked good in between the arms for both Oliver and James.

Katie Leung's New Project:
Katie Leung acted for her first music video in London England. It was for a Leo Ku's "Love Coming Home" and it debuts in his CD titled, "Moments." It is a great addition to Katie's acting careear because now she has acted outdoors amongst the rush of the London city. You know what that means... tourist invasion.
Leo hopes that Katie will make his September concerts in Hong Kong. Katie, in return, hopes to make it. After all, Katie Leung herself was born in Hong Kong.

HPRPC Expands:
After the riviting final book of J.K. Rowling's saga, the Harry Potter Role-Playing Club has decided to extend their world into the "Next Generation." The children of the wizards and witches that fought bravely and lived to see a peace among the wizarding community are on their way to Hogwarts.
The brilliant thing about this Club is that there will be original characters. J.K. Rowling has left a large gap-hole for us to use our imagination.

Harry Potter and the Deathley Hallows
The best Harry Potter book yet. There were midnight parties all around and fans of all ages were enthusiastic, jovial, and all magicked up for the biggest event in fantasy history. The seventh and final book of J.K. Rowling's hit series of Harry Potter came out on July 21 at midnight.
Muggles, witches, and wizards all around will say that this is the best book yet. I'd have to agree. It is absolutely phenomenal. It was all the previous books combined. I can't say much, but according to A.R. Malfoy, "It was action packed from the beginning to the end." You just can't put the book down-- 'tis a huge page turner. You have to read it to actually believe it.
And one more thing, J.K. Rowling thanked those readers who stuck with Harry Potter to the very end. I have to agree with her. Thank you to all the true Harry Potter fans.

U.S. Premiere:
The US premiere will be in Los Angeles at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre on July 8 and on July 9 the Potter trio will get their hands, feet and wands prints immortalized in cement at the same venue.

London Premiere:
Ladies and gents! Warner Brothers Entertainment's Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix gala was on July 3. There were many smiling faces and an overwhelming amount of fans. The cast, who were in their remarkable garb, who showed up were of course the trio of Radcliffe, Grint, and Granger. There were also the great sub-characters, such as Katie Leung and Devon Murray. And last, but not least, there were the evil villains like Helena Bonham Carter who plays Bellatrix Lestrange. Jo also was there and she stated that she was very happy to go on break. Over all, the Order will be the most darkest Harry Potter film so far.
People Magazine Talks about Book 7:
People Magazine has an article about J.K. Rowling's long expected closing story of Harry Potter, see page 170. Is he going to die? Is he going to live? 90% of the readers believe that Harry is going to die. Even celebrities will be upset if Rowling kills off one of the most popular book characters since Lord of the Rings. We will know for sure on July 21 when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows hit all Flourish and Botts (also known as bookstores) around the world.

Oliver Wood
He is truly an asset to Harry Potter Role-Play and I miss him so much. He was a good friend and helped build up the game to where I miss every day of the past. HPRP needs to be like the old days again.

Born and raised in Rochester, Kent, England; only an hour away from London. Cho Chang was born a Pureblood witch, to her parents Kalliyan and Eason Chang. Kalliyan was born in China, attending a remote mandatory Wizarding and Witchcraft academy. Eason on the other hand was brought up to ancient magic, both decedents of wealth. He was also a living decedent of Dzou Yen, the 4th Century B.C. Chinese Alchemist. A little known fact was that Cho Chang's great-great... grandfather Yen can be found on Chocolate Frog's Famous Wizarding Cards.
The two where wed on their seventh year of their scholars, once wed they traveled to the seaport town of Rochester in England to bring up their family. Though the War between good and evil still prevailed during Cho’s birth, it did not progress to their home for barley even a year. Later Voldemort had vanished, leaving Cho and her family to live in ease, even if their arrival was badly timed their life still was full of joy and pride.
Year 1
As the years passed, it was soon Cho Chang’s eleventh birthday. Along with her celebration is the coming of age to use magic, and be taught the ways of magic. She received a letter addressed to her from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was Cho Chang’s first year that the Sorting Hat revealed her into being a Ravenclaw. In an instant she befriended her house and others even outside of her house. Years passed and Cho’s popularity grew, her Asian decent gave her a dream like appearance, with almond piercing hazel eyes, and her long raven hair that seemed to flow so gallantly over her shoulders. Cho’s recognition did not go untold through out the school.
Year 2
Though her first was as normal as ever. It was her second year that rippled with mystery as rumors of Harry Potter, her unspoken hero and who she had secretly admiring through her course of living in England, attending Hogwarts. Seeing as she had read so many heroic things of Harry's past, it seemed to raise awareness along with tragedy.
Year 3
Cho’s Third Year was just as mysterious and tragic. Hogwarts no longer seemed safe. It became a place of dark magic and terror. One of her friends, a Hufflepuff, by the name of Justin Finch-Fletchley was found petrified, along with many other students and a cat. The rumors of Harry being the culprit made Cho uneasy. During that year she separated herself from the public eye for a while.
Year 4
Quidditch had become a passion of which Cho became completely infatuated with. It was her Fourth Year that she was proudly announced the Ravenclaw’s Quidditch Team Seeker. She also happened to be the only girl on the team. Upon being made the Seeker of Ravenclaw she officially met Harry Potter, it was during a Quidditch match: Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor. Had she already been keen on him? Their official appearance to one another made Cho more defined emotions towards Harry. But hold on a minute, what about the Hufflepuff Seeker? He was the tall, strong, and handsome Cedric Diggory. Only time can tell.
Year 5
Fifth year appeared to be just as adventurous with the Tri-Wizard Tournament taking place in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was followed by the announced and gratified Yule Ball, where Cho was more than eager to attend. During the year, before the Yule Ball, the hopes of Harry asking Cho to the Ball where flattened by the fact that Cedric Diggory, the other Hogwarts Champion, asked her hand to the ball. Cho agreed, but it wasn’t more than a week later that she was asked yet again by her awaited Prince Charming, Harry Potter. Having already said yes to Cedric, Cho was obliged to turn down Harry’s offer, though knowing full well that they both felt the same way- crushed and emotionally blown. Cho made it noticeable that she still held a part for him in her heart, and now as a friend. During the Tri-Wizard Tournament, Cho supported both Harry and Cedric, even though Harry was under age and believed to have cheated to get in. She could not help but still have feelings for him, yet more for Cedric.
After the Yule-Ball Cho Chang and Cedric Diggory where an official couple, and the hot topic around the school- being saved by Cedric in the Second Task from the mermaids, her being his treasure, and so on. But it ended so abruptly by the Third and final task when Cedric appeared dead in Harry’s arms after they had finished the maze. Horror struck and an emotional wreck, Cho attended his funeral.
Year 6
Cho’s Sixth year was a regretful and sorrow filled year. There was no disiplne to her emotions, her tears spilled over every easy spoken word of either their hero Cedric Diggory, or the Tri-Wizard tournament. With so many so-called "friends" of hers not being able to relate, it hurt her more than ever. Cho spent half her time crying. She does it at mealtimes, in the loos, all over the place. She was seen through out the school blubbering or sobbing uncontrollably. Cho sought for comfort with Harry. The beginnings of romantic feelings toward him went unnoticed at first, especially when their first encounter of that school year, aboard the Hogwarts Express. It didn't exactly go well-- Harry had just been sprayed all over with Stinksap. Even so, their romance built over the next months and especially during the DA meetings.
When the DA was started, Cho joined along with her friend, Marietta Edgecombe, and was in fact the member who suggested the acronym. Although Ginny Weasley supplied the name itself. Cho was one of the worst of the DA at learning the disarming spell Expelliarmus, although it was solely due to nerves at Harry's presence. During the time she spent with Harry her feeligs grew. It was Christmas when she admitted that she was never good at Dark Arts. Upon complimenting Harry she noticed themselves under the mistletoe and kissed him. After the winter holiday, Cho regained herself by being one of the quicker DA members at learning the Patronus Charm, since she was able to summon a corporeal Patronus, her’s being a swan. She had not taken it so seriously.
Harry had finally asked Cho out on a date in which they went to Hogsmeade on Valentine's Day, but in Harry's words, it was "a complete fiasco." It turns out that she tried to make him jealous by telling him that Roger Davies asked her out too. And of course Cho's story was a complte failure. The maturity of Harry with girls was very legible by then. When he tried to tell her about his promise to meet Hermione, Cho displayed jealousy herself, as Harry hadn't been very deft in trying to tell Cho about it. The fact that he seemed more tempted by leaving to see Hermione bothered Cho greatly. They parted on bad terms, but after The Quibbler interview came out, Cho made up with Harry for a while.
The fatal blow to Cho’s romantic relationship with Harry was dealt after Marietta Edgecombe, who betrayed the Dumbledore's Army by informing Professor Umbridge. Cho came to Harry and pleaded Marietta's case, arguing that Marietta's treachery had extenuating circumstances. Loyalty and keeping one's word are very important to Harry, so Cho's argument for Marietta angered him rather than impressed. Harry pointed out that Ron's position was the same as Marietta's, and that Ron had kept faith. In the end, Cho not only did not acknowledge Harry's point, but instead argued that Hermione's anti-treachery jinx had been unethical. Harry defended Hermione, and again he and Cho parted on bad terms, and this time for good.
Year 7
Cho Chang’s final year ended with her being a Head Girl, along with being the Captain and Seeker of her Quidditch Team of Ravenclaw. Her last appearance to Harry was their match where her team lost sourly. During the year she engulfed herself in studies due to the important N.E.W.Ts and was still sour about Harry. Never approaching him, but though studies did confined her well.
It was in this final school year for Cho that the worse events have come to into happening. The fatal death of Headmaster Dumbledore, which just reminded her of Cedric Diggory. The invasion of You-Know-Who's Death Eaters. A fellow schoolmate by the name of Draco Malfoy having to do with the horrible events. And all of which Cho survived, and being thankful she wasn’t so close to Harry anymore seeing as he was always in the middle of these dangerous events. There was jealousy that hit Cho hard when he began to date Ginny Weasley, which made her crawl to Michael Corner- a fellow Ravenclaw.
From that day on, Cho had graduated Hogwarts with high scores on her N.E.W.T.s and she was able to get almost all the career choices she wanted: Ministry official, Quidditch Player, and even a Hogwarts Professor.

OWLS were soon approaching and Katrienne had nearly spent every second in the day preparing for them. She had barely enough time to eat let alone rest. Her nose was always pressed against a textbook these days. Leaving Transfiguration, her last class of the day, Katrienne was walking down the corridor, not really paying attention to where she was going or who was around her. She was too busy reading something. Katrienne felt herself bumping into someone, having them both fall to the ground, papers flying everywhere from Katrienne's open bag. A group of nearby Slytherin upper-classmen were snickering at them. A little frustrated, Katrienne didn't pay them any attention and she started picking up her belongings. Forgetting that she had knocked someone else over, Katrienne turned and saw Cho Chang from Ravenclaw lying there. "Oh," she said rushing over to her, "I am so sorry about that! Here, let me help you." Katrienne offered holding out her hand.

Roger glanced out the Owlery window. Staring back at him was a light, calm rain; the sound of the almost inaudible patter became soothing to him after the bad day he'd had. It was several hours past midnight and Roger felt like he’d only been there ten minutes in the dark, warm room. There were only a couple owls left in the Owlery; some had gone hunting, and some were off delivering letters, but Roger didn’t mind the company he had for the past couple hours lying near the window and staring out into the vast grounds. He knew his fellow Ravenclaws were probably looking for him, wondering where he could’ve gone, but Roger didn’t care; he’d wanted this time alone for a long, long while, and now he had it.
Roger slowly stood up from the cold marble floor and sighed heavily. Maybe it was time he went to bed. But first, he wanted to do something he hadn’t done for what seemed too long. He wrapped his arms around his chest and left the Owlery, a small grin dancing across his face. He quietly closed the door behind him and walked slowly down the stone steps, enjoying every moment in the rain, loving the warm breeze that made him feel like a little kid again. He couldn’t help but laugh to himself as he continued down the stairs. As he reached the bottom, he found himself near the large castle doors.
He decided that before he went inside and go to sleep he’d make a quick trip around the grounds and soak himself in the rain, just to feel human again. Roger removed his shirt and threw it near the doors, feeling no need for it now that he was already so wet. He tossed his shoes and socks as well, not caring much for them either. Then, he started his venture, half naked, around the school on the pebbled path with a flare in his eyes that he’d almost forgot he’d had. He wanted to jump up and yell as loud as he could, his euphoria almost unable to contain.
*It was just an ordinary Friday evening, but while many of his friends were out and about, Neville Longbottom found himself in the Library, knee deep in studies. He glanced around at the seemingly empty room; it was getting quite late and Neville had already skipped dinner because of his need to finish homework. He let out a deep sigh and closed his book.* That ought to be enough there, mate. *He spoke softly, aware that there were a few others around him trying to read.*
*Neville stood, pushed in his chair, and swung his sack onto his shoulder recklessly - in fact, he was so reckless that he accidentally slammed his bag into the back of the head of the girl who was seated at the table behind his. Neville froze with a look of horror and embarrassment.* Gracious, I'm dearly sorry for that! I can be such a klutz sometimes... *The girl, grabbing her head, spun around to get a glance at who exactly it was that hit her. It was then that Neville realized that he had struck none other than fellow Dumbledore's Army member, Cho Chang.* Cho, I... *Neville couldn't really put together a sentence. Although he hadn't spoken to Cho in quite a while, Neville had still been hoping that he had struck someone he didn't know. That way at least, he wouldn't have to run into that person in the future and cause further embarrassment. *
*Kevin laughed as Cho squeezed him.* Wow, Cho. Perfecting timing, I was just wondering about what you were up to these days... *Kevin slid his books off the bench to make room for Cho to have a seat.* Me? I've just been feeling a bit apathetic, that's all. Been kind of a long weekend for me, and not in a good way. So I thought maybe, just maybe, enjoying the scenery would help a bit. *Kevin gave Cho an exaggerated smile.* But it hasn't. So how have you been? Seems our paths haven't been crossing lately, old friend.
Looking at the golden box of chocolates, Peter couldnt help but smirk. Just as he was about to ask for what she got him, he was interrupted. "What? Just because I fell for someone else is no reason to hate me...." Peter told her as he hugged her tighter. Finally letting Cho go, Peter licked his bottom lip and began to walk with her. "Lucy, Edmund, and Susan are on one of the islands. They should be back shortly." He told her as he tucked his hands into his pockets.
Peter's soft, blue, hued eyes turned to the sunny sky. The sun was now setting, giving the fields they walked in, a warm ember glow. Softly the field blowed, the sound of the Eastern Sea's waves were heard softly in the background. "So how's Hogwarts?" Peter asked with a small grin. "I'd visit but I'm afraid everytime I show up a rumor about you and I begin." He told her as he nudged her playfully.

*Kevin strolled into the courtyard and took a seat on a nearby bench. His eyes scanned the scenery - there was not a soul in sight. The sun was setting and the signs of Spring were showing up all around Hogwarts. Kevin looked at the puddles of melting snow on the ground and was warmed at the memory of when he and Cho had built a Snape-like snowman in that very spot. It was at that moment a frown appeared on his face, for he now realized it had been months since he had seen his close friend and Quidditch rival. Kevin let out a deep sight. *
Bloody Hell Cho, got enough purple on this thing? Erm…anyway I um…wanted to know if you’ve talked to Harry lately. The poor sod won’t speak to any of us about why he’s so glum. I s’pose it’s got to do with Ginny.
Bella walked into History of Magic at the beginning of term. She sighed when she found out they had assigned seats this year. Professor Binns merely pointed at the seat next to Cho. Bella reluctatly looked over and sat down.
The Narnian land had become peaceful; all rumors of a returned Jadis had died down. But that didnt mean they didnt exsist. The taste of winter had now disappeared, the feeling of spring blowing across the land. The land was warming, all ice breaking and melting away. The Eastern Sea's gentle breeze, had now returned to the land. Every now and then an occasional breeze would blow over the land. Peter felt as though the land was awakening; just as he was.
He now walked the fields of Narnia, wondering where Lucy had run off with Jacque. The girl adored his love; always stealing him every chance she got. As annoying as it got, Peter couldnt blame the girl. Jacque adored Lucy in returned. Turning his glance the the Eastern Sea, the sound of a crack was made. "Now who's aparating here?" Peter questioned as he rose a eyebrow. Roaming over a field's hill, he was met by the back of Cho Chang. "Well I dont believe it...If it isnt the famous Cho Chang!" Peter called with a grin.
Gwendolyn was walking through the corridors of Hogwarts. It was winter holiday and no body was really around. Last year, the Yule Ball made everyone stay, but since then, it went back to being the same old population during break. Trying to find something to do, Gwendolyn kept walking.
Looking up at the pictures, she never realized how much detail was in them before. I mean, she did, but not as of right now. She smiled at each portrait and she walked along the long and empty hall way.
As she was coming near the Ravenclaw Tower on her walk, she heard Peeves coming near her way. 'Great, what could want?' she said to herself sounding very irratated.
However, the annoying ghost did not want to bother her, but instead another student that was there during the holidays. After she heard a scream of shock from around the corner, Gwendolyn raced over the location.
Looking to find a school mate, she walked over to you. As she looked up to find Peeves, Gwendolyn said, "You're a git you know that?"
Peeves gave an evil laugh of satisfaction, "My work here is done..." and he floated away, laughing to himself.
Shaking her head, Gwendolyn let out a hand to help you up. "My name is Gwendolyn. Nice to meet you..... erm....."
Sebastian raised his hand to answer Snape's question. This was just too rudimentary. He stated, "Aconite is a plant used in many potions. Also known as Monkshood or Wolfsbane." Sebastian smiled back at Cho after he finished answering Snape's question. He followed the instructions meticulously, and by the end, he had a perfect swelling solution in his cauldron, simmering slightly.
Hey, Doll. Just wanted to tell you that in your Marital Status you have Cormac marked as, 'Ex-boyfirned.' Something you might want to change. *Laughs* Unless 'Firned' is a status of some kind. *Contemplates for a long time. *
Justin glanced out the Owlery window. Staring back at him was a light, calm rain; the sound of the almost inaudible patter became soothing to him after so much complication in the day. It was several hours past midnight and Justin felt like he’d only been there ten minutes in the dark, warm room. There were only a couple owls left in the Owlery; a lot had gone hunting, and some were off delivering letters, but Justin didn’t mind the company he had for the past several hours lying near the window and staring out. He knew a couple of his fellow Hufflepuffs were probably looking for him, wondering where he could’ve gone off to, but Justin didn’t care; he’d wanted this time alone for a long, long while, and now he had it.
Justin slowly stood up from the cold marble floor and sighed heavily. Maybe it was time he went to bed. But first, he wanted to do something he hadn’t done for what seemed too long. He wrapped his arms around his chest and exited the Owlery, a small grin dancing across his façade. He quietly closed the door behind him and walked slowly down the stone steps, enjoying every moment in the rain, adoring the warm breeze that made him feel like a little kid again. He couldn’t help but laugh lightly to himself as he continued down the stairs. As he reached the bottom, he found himself a couple yards away from the large oak doors that lead him into the castle.
But, he decided before he went inside and go to sleep, that he’d make a quick trip around the grounds and soak himself in the rain, just to feel human again. Justin removed his shirt and threw it near the doors, feeling no need for it now that he was already so wet. He discarded his shoes and socks as well, not caring much for them either. Then, he started his journey, half naked, around the school on the pebbled path with a smirk and a flare in his eyes that he’d almost forgot he’d had. He wanted to jump up in the air and yell as loud as he could, his euphoria almost unable to contain.
Sebastian was in his dorm looking through his muggle, advanced chemistry and physics books, pondering about Quantum Electrodynamics. It was an intriguing subject that was worthwhile to read, although imbibing the information became difficult when it became very sophisticated. But, not for Seb! He read on and on until he understood most of the concepts in the first half of the book. Then he shifted to Quantum mechanics and went from there all morning and it was pretty easy work, as he had already mastered all of Calculus by now.
After a while, Seb suddenly remembered, potions class!! It was a natural talent of his and he was top student in potions of his year (120% end of year exam), and it was the most compelling subject he had ever set eyes upon. He sprinted down the stairs, out of the Slytherin common room, down the dungeons hallway and into the Potions classroom. He walked in with his usual excitement and greeted Professor Snape, "Hello, Professor!" Sebastian sat down next to Cho and said, "Fine day for potion making isn't it!" He looked at the board to see that they would be doing a swelling solution, and commented with elation, "Easy enough!" Then, he set about creating the swelling solution as he precisely measured the ingredients.
Fred snickered mirthlessly. Not in a mean way, but in the reply to a ridiculous idea. “No, I won’t find someone very special. I think I’m done with this whole thing for awhile. It’s only been heartbreak after heartbreak and fiasco after disaster. And it all starts with a single glance at someone. This whole ‘love’ thing doesn’t really work for me. I’ve got my brother, I’ve got my family, and friends, and a shop. Why would I need anything else? Anything so complicated and damning, to put if frankly, only makes my life worse and worse. I’m sick of the depression I’ve been cast in, and I can’t help but turn myself away from this sick infatuation that writers create, musicians proclaim, and humans seek endlessly. I have no true paramour, and never will. ‘Love’ and ‘Happily Ever After’ only exist in fairy tales and children’s stories. There is no unrelenting love in reality. And that is my lesson after this, Cho. I’ve walked away from this experience with a heads up on life.” Fred sighed deeply, traced the bark on the tree above Cho’s head, and walked away slowly, solemnly.
