About me:

Rumor Ray was born and raised in Rosedale. Yeah thats Baltimore. I now live in Carroll County on a horse farm with my wife and 3 wonderful children. We started RavenFever.com just after the Super Bowl win however we had been selling Raven Gear since 1996 when the team started. Growing up a Baltimore Colts fan, I was saddened back in 84 when the Bolts as I call them now moved out of town on a snowy night. I went to watch the Baltimore Stars and was excited when the CFL Stallions started playing here. When I heard that we were getting a team I was happy and sad. I did not want to see the fans of Cleveland deal with the problems we had in Baltimore. I almost hoped we just kept the Stallions (since they were the Grey Cup Champs) and I wanted to forget about the NFL since Paul Tagledeboohoo told us to take the money and build a museum. The NFL had turned their backs on Baltimore and I would be happy turning mine on them. Then Art Model and the City of Baltimore agreed that the Name Browns and the Colors would stay in Cleveland. The NFL then rushed to grant an expansion team to Cleveland and the rest is history. I then thought about the facts, This was Baltimore’s Team…. This was our Chance to Show the NFL they were wrong and we should have had the other expansion teams…. This was the Chance to SHINE!! I walked into that 1st Preseason Game Saturday 8/3/1996 against the Eagles thinking WOW The NFL is back in Baltimore. I think about the awful sound they played over the speakers that was supposed to be a Raven. I remember the bathroom issues that day. However, I remember the Crowd the most! Fans Standing and Cheering like they had wanted too since 1984! That my friends is why we do it …. Why we sell $5 gameday shirts….. Why we have PSLs and go to all games…. We do it for the Fans!! Ok so we make a couple bucks for Beer Money however we offer the best products at the best deals to the True Baltimore Football FANS !!! See yah at the Vault !!!!
