raven groves was born in an urban jungle, raised by a pack of dingos, and at the tender age of 13, cast out into the cruel world with nothing but a tote bag filled with pen-knives and fluid-less zippo lighters.
after setting several fires in southern new jersey, and cutting derogatory terms into oak trees nationwide, she discovered a guitar in an abandoned car lot she frequented at the time. the magical instrument played itself in her hands whenever she picked it up, and so she decided to bring it with her as she traveled up north, "playing" it and earning spare change for hot chai tea and other sustenance along the way on her journey to canada. soon, she began to sing along with the guitar, devising clever lyrics and glorious melodies to compliment the music her guitar spat out. now, she lives with her common-law husband in canada's capital, and spends her days retaining time warner customers for an outsourced customer service call center, and her evenings scavenging the city streets for pennies dropped by careless pedestrians.
