About me: Steve Watson (vocals) and Jay Graham (drums) started Ravens Creed towards the end of 2006. They recruited long-time friends from Orange Goblin Ben Ward (vocals) and Martyn Millard (bass).James Kiely joined the band as 2nd guitarist to complete the line up. They then recorded the Militia of blood sacrifice EP which was released on Land O' smiles records (ltd to just 500 copies on 7").
Due to lack of time to rehearse Martyn left Ravens Creed in January 2008 and was replaced by Frazer Craske.
The band hit the road in May 2008 for there first tour 'Albion Thunder'.
In July 2008 it was anounced that James Kiely had parted ways with the band and that the remaining members would continue on as a four-piece.
They played at Bloodstock 08 on August 17th, and supported Turisas at the Camden Barfly on August 20th.
Ravens Creed played there final gig of 2008 at the Hard Rock Hell festival on December 20th.
The band recorded there debut album 'Albion Thunder' at the end of January and it was released via Doomentia records on the July 15th. Limited to just 500 hand numbered Digipacks.
