Our interests are in broadening our knowledge of other writers, networking with other gothic writers, and helping to promote gothic writers and gothic/alternative literature as a whole.
Music
While this site is dedicated to gothic and alternative writers, our father site,Ravenwood Manor>, is dedicated to gothic and alternative music.
This site is dedicated to those writers of dark and gothic poetry, prose and fiction. While, as yet, this page is in its fledging stages, we hope to add more writers daily. Any and all writers of the gothic nature are not only welcome but encouraged to add us to their friend's list.
Ravenwood Manor and it's sister pages (Scriptorium, Modeling, and Festival) welcome people from all walks of life. We understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs, but we want to remind everyone that the opinions, beliefs, etc. of some do not reflect the opinions, beliefs, etc. of those of us central to Ravenwood Manor. This page intends to promote creativity and support of gothic/dark writing. But is not LIMITED to gothic/dark writing. Saying a Goth can't write happy words is like believing a Cheerleader can't have a bad day. So, send us whatever you have, leave support and feedback for the other writers, and remember that in the end this page is here to broaden our minds and worlds.
Who I'd like to meet:
We of the Ravenwood family hope to provide a place for writers with a common interest in the gothic and alternative culture to meet and share ideas and, of course, network.
Again, the page is still in its fledgling stage, but we plan on hosting a monthly contest in which a featured writer will be chosen and showcased.
Unlike any other for all to see, to be loved my one another and be appreciated and enjoy one another’s company. Enlightening and enthralling to tickle our minds in such a way. We indulge our senses to explore new heights of expression so that we may say… Thank You for having such a creative haven for all of us to come.
We hope that when you find the time, you will come and visit us at our main website, where we have much awaiting your perusal, articals of interest, galleries etc...

READ THIS WHOLE THING. IT'S SO DANG TRUE*
1. At least 2 people in this world love you so much they would die for you.
2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.
4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.
5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
6. You mean the world to someone.
7. If not for you, someone may not be living.
8. You are special and unique.
9. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.
10. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.
11. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look: you most likely turned your back on the world.
12. When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably won't get it, but if you believe in yourself, probably, sooner or later, you will get it.
13. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.
14. Always tell someone how you feel about them; you will feel much better when they know.
15. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are great.

We just opened our steampunk themed etsy shop and will be adding even more items from our Fall product line in the next few days. Please stop by and visit us at piratesalibi. etsy. com.
I wanted to stop by and personally thank you for all the hard work you put into Ravenwood Festival 2008, sis! And let you know how proud I am of you for all that you have achieved!
Hullo hullo! I must prepare something grusome and horrifying before I present it to thy and I might put some of my friend Desiree (the moody girl >_<) on here too. She writes more your style and it would fit in nicely.
