"Cosmetic Plague"

--Being honest is no means of survival, avoid your inner-feelings like the plague, This is what it takes to comply with the images this structure will accomodate,

But things aren't what they seem when they're partially hidden behind walls of pretence built for peace of mind.

The barriers between us are forever maintained by our acceptance of the roles others choose to define.

In a world of competition life's portrayed as a contest where we're forced to live by making gains at others expense,

But no-one's really gaining when perpetual conflict's the result of our relationships based on pretence,

We don't need this cultural cosmetic division it upholds the self-interest on which the system feeds, A deconditioned consciousness of mutual respect is the only way to cure this cosmetic disease.

Provo ramp new years eve 2006, a stylish b/s five-O pivot

Here's a photo of me at Belmars backyard pool in O.C. pushing a smooth b/s grind grabbing the nose. --Photo Garret Naka.





--The skate photo above, was shot back in 2003 just 4 weeks into a broken wrist at almost 39 years old. My wrist completely separated both the radius ulna, from a skate injury. This photo was published in the August 2003 issue number 271 of "Thrasher Magazine" with full credits. After 25 years of skateboarding this balls out photo made the mags.

I ride skateboards, mini ramps, some pools but most of the time the new cement skateparks in California, and Oregon. Usually find me at the Glendale skatepark, or my favorite the Provedencia ramp in Burbank...sometime's I'll be at the new Volcom Headquarters skateboarding their facility. My favorite skateboarders are David Z, DP, and Tony Hawk.

I drive an 18 wheel mobile television production truck for ESPN, FSN, and Sports West I can drive through tornados and I did on March, 30 2006 on I 80 just west of Des Moine, Iowa -out of 8 big rigs mine was the only one that made it, as seven 18 wheel trucks were blown over and swept up to the land of Oz. --I'm an uncle of two girls and one boy. I'm 69 and I feel like I'm 20..must be all the skateboarding?
