We are Heidi and Justin Ohlander, and we started our own raw food website in August 2006. The mission of Raw Food, Right Now is to be a place for those of you who are living in the real world and are also interested in the raw food lifestyle.
After years of research and trial-and-error, we are now two successful raw foodists who eat lots of fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. And yes, we also enjoy a little raw chocolate, agave nectar, and goji berries too.
Our vision is to make sure we maintain passion and joy while approaching raw foods from a realistic, real world angle. Raw Food, Right Now! is all about showing a wide range of topics; from making fun tasty recipes from other raw foodists, sharing our own new raw food creations, as well as tell our personal stories of our past and present raw food journey.
In November 2006 we released our first raw recipe book, entitled Raw Food, Right Now!: Raw Thanksgiving Recipes. The response for the book was phenomenal, as we helped hundreds of people make holiday recipes just in time for Thanksgiving.
We are continuing to work on a variety of raw food projects that will be released throughout this year.
