I'm a certified wildlife biologist and am very involved with wildlife and conservation issues. I am currently studying to better understand the connections between my Christian faith and the environment. In fact, I wish we could do away with words like "the environment", "nature", "natural resources", etc. To me, it is all "God's
creation". I think that most Christians find it very easy to be destructive to the environment, but it is far more difficult to justify our ways when
it is clear that we are destroying God's creation. As an added bonus, my job title would change from "Senior Natural Resource Specialist" to Senior God's Creation Specialist"
I am not one of the many people that are fighting to have Intelligent Design taught in science classrooms and I don't run around trying to denounce evolution. Heck, I'm not even republican. I am just someone that feels
that if we are to worship God, sing songs about His wonders and works, then
we can not close our eyes to the many ways we impact and harm His creation! We must learn to live our lives in an exemplary fashion and extend respect to all creation.
My faith has allowed me a very deep appreciation for our Earth. I can't even describe the feeling of looking at the artistry and creativity of a beautiful sunrise and then thinking, "Hey, I know the artist!"
I am married to Rhonda, the most wonderful woman on Earth. I have 2 great kids and am blessed far beyond my wildest dreams. I am a leader at Kidschurch and work with kids every Sunday and Wednesday. I am also very involved with environmental issues.
I love crosses! This is the most powerful symbol within the Christian faith. Rhonda and I travel all across the Country and this allows me to photograph them in some really cool locations. Can you find the cross hidden in the tree on my background? I also build many crosses each year. Visit My Collection of Crosses and Cross Photos >www.thecrossweb.com

Hello! i apologize. i'm on facebook more often than myspace though I try to pop through every blue moon. This past summer was great for me. Currently, I'm just undergoing the steps to hopefully attend grad school next fall in human dimensions of wildlife, studying for the GRE (again )= ), and planning/preparing to partake in a wildlife internship in kenya in November!
