| General | INFO ABOUT RAW NERVE
We started around 1999. Over the years we've been involved in putting on gigs (around 100 plus another 50 joint promotions), putting on metal nights (around 150), reviewing music (about 3000 cds have had Raw Nerve words spoken about them), helping promote releases, bands, and have also had occasional dabbles with radio shows and more.
These days, all that we do is run the forum and occasionally help spread info/banners/flyers around the net for people. We've started again taking care of gig booking, through the Subculture venue in Leeds, so please check out the blog if you're interested and fill in the details. We're not putting on many gigs, but a few.
Please feel free to come along and post about your band, your promotions, any gigs you're involved with, labels, or general stuff going on. The day to day banter on there is as important as the music side of things
| | Music | Our main concern, musically, is anything in the extreme world. Our preference is death, black, grind, extreme metal generally, but, all the people involved in keeping RN going, and all the people that frequent the forums are open minded to all styles, and there's also plenty of chatter about general metal, electro, ambient, drum n bass, industrial, noise, jazz, prog, classical and much more.
