That is the versatility that Raw Stalin represents. With many influences and a style that can only be described as “800 degrees” he is a malleable as his name sake. Born Kyron Headley on January 28, 1976 in Brooklyn, New York, from birth he has shown versatility in all art forms. But it wasn’t until he was 13 that he realized that he had a gift for verse and rhyme. At the age of fifteen he moved from East New York, to Rochdale Village Queens, neither area known for their “friendliness or kindness,” both help contribute to the smelting pot that holds Raw Stalin. Raw Stalin has been part of many groups, Under World Team Amerikkka that he joined at 13, as well as rapping with his cousin Silver Sterlin (Qauvin Havoc), and the group Ambush, that disbanded in 2004. All these events have help pepper the smelting pot, and RawStalin is still hot and will remain hot and he will never run out of “material.”
