Founding member, Randy Wooten, of The Bloody Lovelies and Frank Sin, rallies the kids together for a pet project he names Raw Sugar after staring at a pack of well... sugar. Anna Montgomery, formerly of Shelby Lynne's band and her own self-titled r&b band, fronts the 70's rock inspired Raw Sugar with material wriiten primarily by Wooten (keys) and his rock guitar god of choice, Aaron Kaplan. Rhythm section Carson Cohen (bass) and Anders Fransson (drums) add the sugar on bottom.
I thought I loved the original version of Blue Horizons, but the new one is AMAZING! The acoustic sound is moving and touches the heart. Congratulations on your expected success with Raw Sugar.
