After traveling the world with my father a famous puppet master, I took over the family business upon his passing. While in St. Louis doing a show a strange man appeared before me asking me to come to Joplin Missouri for the July 4th festivities. After apologizing to him and telling him I was already booked to be in Denver, he offered me three times my pay. Needing the extra money I agreed to go. After arriving in Joplin I began to feel a very strange feeling; one not felt before. After being turned away at countless inn and hotels, the strange man appeared before me offering his manor for me to stay. I thanked the man, after all I was grateful. Once showed to my room, I was shocked to find him standing there. He asked for me to do a private showing for his children, and I graciously refused stating I needed to get to the festival. He became very angry with me and began to yell, "Don’t you know who I am, I am Dr. Raycliff!" I became very scared at this moment and wanted desperately to leave. Trying to escape the manor, I hear him behind me yelling, “Mary, if you leave, those dolls of yours might end up controlling you one day." Frantic at this point I stumble to the door only to find him there waiting, taunting, and asking me, "Mary, what is your worst fear?"
