Ray Costa was born in Italy in the middle of the 80s, as a child, he discovered his passion for every kind of electronic music and for the computer. In 2005 came the first results about musical production; on Anthem, goes out his first production in association with Luca Ontino, whose name is “Lady Shamiira - I Want Your Love”.
Subsequently comes in contact with Emotive Sounds, a new digital label, through which he makes his personal first work called “Do It”. This project has very large consensus into the public, and comes in charts of the most famous sites of download such as Beatport [n°5 electro chart], Juno [n°10], Trackitdown [n°1] and others…
After he publishes the song “Do It 2007” with a remix by Yoshie Chandler (aka Alex Kenji), which reaches a great success and enters again in chart on Beatport.com. In the same year with the single “Dirty Confusion” he succeeds to capture a large audience and purchases a greater visibility thanks to various compilations in which the track is licensed. During this period he lives the nightlife playing as resident dj at Alien disco, a historical Italian club, but also by participating in exclusive events in other places.
His sets are always exclusive, a mix of own productions and refined tracks, which
allows in every moment the best performance for every kind of dancefloor.
2009 is the most active year as producer, he makes collaborations with known names of the italian electronic scene such as Andrea Bertolini, Phunk Investigation, Joy Kitikonti. After the great audience of “Tangada”, another track called “Nebula” comes again in the high places of Beatport.com (n°3 in progressive house chart for one month).
At the present he is the A&R of Room 69, the new label of +39 group (the same of Starlight, Pink Rabbit, Neurotraxx, Love Cycle and other labels known in the best digital download shops) and his productions has been supported by the best international djs.

Ray Costa nasce in Italia a metà degli anni ’80, sin da bambino, scopre la sua passione per ogni tipo di musica elettronica e per il computer. Nel 2005 arrivano i primi risultati a livello di produzione musicale, su Anthem, sublabel della major Hitland esce la sua prima produzione in collaborazione con Luca Ontino; il nome del progetto è ”Lady Shamiira – I Want Your Love”.
Successivamente entra in contatto con l’Emotive Sounds, neo label digitale, sulla quale arriva il primo vero importante lavoro da solista il titolo è “Do It” e riscuote un grandissimo consenso da parte del pubblico, arrivando a essere in chart sui piu grandi siti di download come Beatport [n°5 electro chart], Juno [n°10], Trackitdown [n°1] e altri..
Successivamente pubblica il brano “Do It 2007” con una versione prodotta da Yoshie Chandler (aka Alex Kenji) che arriva ancora una volta in chart su Beatport . Nello stesso anno con il singolo “Dirty Confusion” su HouseTraxx riesce a conquistare un pubblico sempre più vasto ed acquistare maggiore visibilità grazie anche alle varie compilation nelle quali il brano è licenziato. In questo periodo approda nella movida capitolina suonando come dj resident all’Alien, locale storico romano, ma anche partecipando ad eventi esclusivi in altri locali.
I suoi set sono sempre unici ed esclusivi, un mix di produzioni proprie e materiale ricercato, che riesce in ogni momento della serata a mantenere un ritmo elevato.
Il 2009 lo vede attivissimo a livello di produzioni, crea collaborazioni con nomi noti nel panorama dell’elettronica italiana tra cui Andrea Bertolini, Phunk Investigation, Joy Kitikonti e dopo l’ottimo successo di “Tangada” arriva di nuovo una top seller,”Nebula” che lo vede tornare ai primi livelli su Beatport (n’3 per oltre 1 mese in progressive house chart).
Al momento gestisce la neo label Room 69, del gruppo +39 (composto da etichette come Starlight, Pink Rabbit, Neurotraxx, Love Cycle..ben note nei portali di digital download) e le sue produzioni e quelle della sua etichetta sono supportati dai migliori djs internazionali.
