I'm not a Soldier. The picture you see, my avatar, is what I believe we are doing in Iraq. We're not fashioning them to our image, we are helping them as they are working to be the first Arab nation to be a democracy where their people have the right to speak, to learn, and to be all that they can be.
Israel is the first to be the light of freedom but she has become so wrongly maligned and scapegoated by her enemies and their allies that to follow their example in the middle east is unthinkable. Nevertheless, Israel still remains the success story of a working democracy in the Middle East.
It is now Iraq's turn and we cannot leave them as we did with Afghanistan where after 4 years post-war with Russia, the Taliban came to power which Osama bin Laden set terror camps. We can't let the same thing happen in Iraq.

Now here are pictures the Liberal Media wouldn't want you to see. Typically, when you watch CNN, ABC, NBC, and MSNBC, you would see Iraq as a quagmire, a hopeless bloody mess where nothing is being accomplished, and the Iraqi people hate our servicepersons. With Daily desplays of KIAs, the report always ends in a negative, never positive tone.
While it is true that it is not safe in Iraq, what is not true is that Iraq is hopeless. Progress is being made there and that the people appreciate our help. Universities, Schools, Hospitals, Infanstructure, etc are rebuild and more and more, the Iraqi Police and Army is taking control of Iraq. Instead of listening to one side of the argument, listen to our troops over there. I found this Album at Webshots and thought it's worth while to share.
