In the summer of 2006, Raygus formed with members Jon Christensen, Erik Christensen, and Alex Dominish. They played primarily covers from the British Invasion era, songs like Day Tripper, Rain, My Generation, and A Hard Day's Night. They recorded a few of these on their first project, "Rock And Roll Revolution." Later that year, a new member was added to the band, Chris Vayo on bass guitar. The band focused more on writing their own songs and released the CD "Everyone's Waiting" which featured 11 songs. In the next year, problems arose within the band, and Chris Vayo departed from the group. Within a few weeks, they had gained their newest member, Matt Super on bass guitar and vocals. This is their current lineup. As soon as Matt was in the band, they started recording their next project, "Real Life." This CD also had 11 songs, and gave a new sound to the band, a less punky sound. The band played around Northeast Ohio for awhile after that, until in the summer of 2008 they started to record their next CD, "Harmony & Tambourines." This CD was completed and released in early 2009. It had another 11 songs, each one with a different sound. This CD featured some new instruments like the piano, strings section, and bells. Matt Super wrote and sang lead on 2 songs, "Reject" and "Home." They are currently playing shows and getting ready to start their next project.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
