Ray Marciano came in touch with music at a very young age. At his home music was all around. Drumming along Ravel's Bolero at the age of 2, one could say that it was inevitable that he would start making music when he grew up. He got infected with dancemusic at the age of 8.
At that time the dutch hardcore scene was huge and he and his friends were always playing that music. When he was older he and his cousin started making music with acidpro, basically nothing more than arranging loops, but it was great. Due to education there wasnt much time to do this but it was nice as a hobby.
When he finished school he had more time on his hands to make music. He started out with making hardcore with reason, fascinated as he was by the music of Ophidian and other producers from the Enzyme label. But he soon felt there was missing something in this style. So in 2007 he switched to making minimalistic music. This was exactly what he was looking for.
Focussing on minimal infused with other styles you can expect anything, but always with groove and feeling.
