ABOUT PERKS MYSPACE PAGE:
Please use this site to review our concert calendar and note that the next 40 performers are essentially the same as our top 40 "friends". If you are interested to learn more about any of the upcoming musicians simply click on their icon and you will be taken to their Myspace. From there you can review the artists' biographies and listen to their music.
Myspace does not let nonmembers use some functions such as sending messages or viewing a user's pictures. If you try to do this you will be told that "You must be logged on to do that!" At this point you can simply back-up one page and avoid that function. Or even better, sign-up, (it's free) become a member, and a friend of Perks.

We serve great soups, salads, and sandwiches. We also have cakes, muffins, scones, biscotti, raspberry lime rickies, and hot chocolate etc. Don't let the coffeehouse name scare you.
But, best of all we have FREE live music every Thursday and Friday. See the "Upcoming Shows" (To your right) and "friends space" (Below "Upcoming Shows") for dates and musicians.

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT: EXTREME THIN CRUST INDIVIDUAL PIZZAS:

WHERE IS PERKS COFFEEHOUSE?
Perks Coffeehouse is located at 685 Washington Street (RT. 1a) in the heart of uptown Norwood.
Routes 1, 128, and 95 all pass through Norwood as does the Frankline/495/Forge Park commuter rail line.
Perks is less than a 5 minute walk from both the Norwood Central and Norwood Depot train stops.
ABOUT THE VENUE:
Perks 1400 SQ. FT. dining room seats over 60 people, and on occasion, has held audiences of well over 100.
Perks hosts live original music every Thursday and Friday 8 - 10 PM. Performers no longer need to bring a sound system.
Perks now has a top of the line Behringer PA system.

(1) Behringer PMP2000 Amplifier, 350W X2CH, W/10 line mixer.
(2) Behringer E1520 15" 2-way speakers.
(One tripod mounted speaker and one floor monitor.)
(3) Behringer XM8500 Microphones.
(3) DR Pro Tripod Mic Boom Stands.

This system is Rock Solid, but if you would prefer to use your own equipment please let us know in advance. Otherwise we will have the system set up and ready for you to use.
Performers can sell merchandise and take tips but no "pass the hat." We don't charge a cover (yet) or serve alcohol so the gig does not pay a fortune...But the room is worth it!
