Ray of Hope Ministries is a ministry of Prater Creek Baptist Church. Prater Creek Baptist Church (PCBC) is a Baptist Church nestled in the Appalachian Mountains of Eastern Kentucky.
We are a local church with a vision for global ministry. Plans are currently being developed to establish a multi-pronged, interactive, international ministry.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23)

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
“…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23b)
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” (John 1:12)
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

I John 5:11 tells us that eternal life is in God’s Son, Jesus Christ. You can receive eternal life and forgiveness of sin right now. Just call upon Jesus and invite Him to come into your life and forgive your sin.
Just say, “Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner but I believe You died for me. I now repent. Please come into my life right now and forgive me of my sin and give me eternal life. I receive You as my Savior. Amen.”

THE HEART OF GOD...BY KAREN FERRARA*******LAST NIGHT I HAD THE MOST BEAUTIFUL DREAM.A RAINBOW APPEARED IN THE SKY AND REACHED DOWN AND TOUCHED THE GROUND.I HESITATED AT FIRST ,AND THEN RAN TO THE RAINBOW.I PUT MY ARMS UP TO THE SKY AND DANCED UNDER THE RAINBOW.I COULD FEEL THE WARMTH OF THE RAINBOW AS IT FLOWED DOWN ON ME.AT THE BOTTOM OF THE RAINBOW WAS A GIFT FROM GOD TO ME.IT WAS A CHAIN WITH A BIG DIAMOND HEART ATTACHED TO IT.I WAS TOLD THAT GOD WOULD HOLD IT FOR ME UNTIL I ASKED IF I COULD HAVE IT.ALL I HAD TO DO WAS ASK,AND THE HEART WOULD BE MINE;I COUDN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT THAT HEART,SO I ASKED IF I COULD HAVE IT.IT WAS GIVEN TO ME RIGHT AWAY.AS I LOOKED AT THE HEART,I NOTICED THAT IT WAS VERY LARGE AND BEAUTIFUL.BUT IT WAS NOT NEW.IT LOOKED AS IF IT WAS AN ANTIQUE THAT HAS BEEN PASSED DOWN THROUGH MANY GENERATIONS. I REALIZED THAT THIS WAS THE HEART OF GOD,VERY BEAUTIFUL,LARGE ENOUGH FOR ALL HIS CHILDREN,AND FULL OF SCARS THAT REPRESENTS THE HEARTBREAKS THAT GOD FEELS WHEN WE DON'T REALIZE HOW MUCH HE REALLY DOES LOVE US.AND HOW MUCH HE SUFFERED ,SO THAT WE CAN BE SAVED.I WAS TOLD THAT I COULD KEEP THE HEART,BUT THAT I SHOULD ALSO PASS IT ON TO OTHERS.SO,HERE I AM ,DELIVERING THIS MESSAGE FROM GOD;HERE IS MY HEART,MY BELOVED CHILDREN,TAKE IT,IT IS YOURS FOREVER!

When you are facing the giants do like Joshua, he had obeyed the instruction of the lord and kept that Word on his mind and in his heart day and night. He’d meditated on it and let it constantly remind him that God was on their side. If your going to fight the good fight of faith to the finish, you’ll have to do just like Joshua did. You’ll have to continually draw courage from the Word of God. So make up your mind to do it Get the word and let it change you from a failure to an overcomer. Then March into battle and slay the giants in your land. Peace, Messenger
