Movies
If you haven't seen STAR TREK on the big screen, you've missed a great opportunity to view one of my favorite films this year in all its immenseness. It is a definite keeper for me when it releases on DVD. Other great films this year are (500) Days of Summer, The Hangover and The Proposal. Those are in my top five films. Coming up and are in current release are Julie and Julia, G.I. Joe, Adam, Old Dogs, The Cove, District 9, Humpday and 9. See you at the movies.
Television
I am a big fan of QUEER AS FOLK although this is the last of the series. After 5 years, I've grown to adore Michael and all that is he. Let me find my own Michael Novotny and I'll be a happy man. Thanks Hal Sparks for making me believe there is someone out there like the character you portrayed. You are Michael.
Heroes
Thanks Jim for creating this for me. Where the HELL is my Coke?

When Jake recorded "Alive & Screaming" it was all so new. Jake was green... the songs, his performance, the idea of the record was so raw, so full of honesty and brittle broken hopeful moments. As we have traveled along the musical journey of Jake Walden, we have witnessed the evolution of "Alive & Screaming" and the rise of Jake as a renowned and most celebrated singer/songwriter. As he moves towards the release of his next album "Same Something Different" ~ Jake brings to us an EP of 4 LIVE tracks that have been monumental to him as an artist.
Once again, Jake Walden has shared something so very
special. Take a moment and watch, listen. Hopefully his music will
touch you in a very special way and you will seek out and embrace all
that he has to give. Once you do, you will know, at that very moment
that he is like no other...
Please share this with
your friends... with love
In Jake’s words ~
“A Case of
You”
"There are few songs that
remain constants for me. This song is for my Mom who's birthday is this
week. A Case of You along with so many Joni songs have been the bridge
between us and helped in growing our friendship throughout my adult
life. Blue, the album this is off of was a seminal piece of work in my
Mom's life, and luckily it became the same for me. There really are no
words to say how much this song means to me, as a writer, a singer and
a hopeless romantic. I find it's meanings to be endless and I hope in
this little moment, in that tiny room with that old microphone I was
able to capture just that.
