I like a variety of music ranging from rock to black metal, classical to pop, and hip hop. I used to consider myself a metalhead and I still am but I listen to a broad range and at the time I didn't listen to mainstream music because I didn't want to "conform" but realized how childish that was and that why limit yourself? If I were to write a list it would take forever so I'll spare the time. ;)Movies
Love them. Watch them. Some of favorites are Gladiator, the Green Mile, The Notebook, Friday, Cruel Intentions, Waking Life, Disney movies, Jay and Silent Bob movies (Jersey films), and many more. I like a lot of different movies. My favorite genre would have to be psychological thrillers. I like movies that move you, make you think and I don't care for action movies and eye candy movies.Television
Friends, Southpark, Aquateens, South of Nowhere, the L word, Sugar Rush. I also like some game shows including Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Deal or No Deal, and the classic Price is Right (when bob was hosting). I love the discovery channel and animal planet. "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte is my favorite book. Classic. To be honest, I don't read much anymore. I used to all the time as a child but I find myself more interested in TV shows and movies. I also tend to fall asleep reading no matter how interesting the book is.Heroes

About me:
NOW DOING 8X10 PORTRAITS FOR $30!!!!!My name is Rayven Collins and I am an artist. I'm here to learn and grow as an artist and to share my work. I've known since a small child that art is why I'm here. My dream is to become someone great, to change and move people.
I'm looking to do commissioned work. I have figured out a basic form of estimating my prices for art. I think it's very reasonable. These are only estimates and are not written in stone. Prices are based on the size, media (charcoal, pastel, oils, etc.), the time spent, and the subject matter. I'm willing to draw anything from portraits, to exotic animals and pets, to architecture and landscapes, to fantasy. Fantasy would be my biggest challenge. I need photographic references for all projects. I only ask of a good description of what you want with specific details or if you want to leave the creation to me that is fine. If you have photos of what you want drawn that makes it that much easier and the project could be started right away. I aim to please you and give you what You want. I know you will be pleased with what I can do for you. Here's a basic estimation:

This is an estimation for orginal artwork. You have the option to have any sort of print you want including cards, posters, laminated prints, canvas prints, regular prints, or framed prints of past work. If you want the original to be framed, let me know what style of frame and mat you would like. A recommended site would be pictureframes.com. They seem to have a lot of deals going on right now. The estimates for originals above do not include shipping prices. Right now, I have no idea how much it will be ship but I will update you when I can get an estimation. As far as wet media goes (oil paint, watercolor, acrilic, etc.), I will make an estimation at another time. I prefer to work in dry media, it's my personal choice. I've been getting a lot of requests for oils, but you can get close to the same effect with pastels without the shiny glare. Any questions, comments, or concerns let me know.
