About me:

Order THE NAMELESS here:

khpindustries.com/wordpress2

Ray Wallace hails from Brandon, FL, a suburb of Tampa where he composes electronic music with his brother and writes his fiction. His debut novel, THE NAMELESS, will be published by Black Death Books in the summer of 2009. He is a member of the Horror Writers Association and has published more than twenty stories in such magazines and anthologies as The Blackest Death Vol. 1 & 2, Chimeraworld 4, Small Bites, Erotic Fantasy: Tales of the Paranormal, Monster’s Ink, Trip the Light Horrific, Whispers from the Shattered Forum, and at Bloodfetish, Dark Muse, and Delirium Online. His story "One of the Six" took first place in Chizine's second annual fiction contest. He wrote a long running book review column for The Twilight Showcase webzine and now writes reviews for Chizine and SFReader.com.

An excerpt from The Chronicles of the Coven:

Nameless. It’s what we are. It’s what we’ve always been. And that’s the way we like it. Through skill, manipulation, and some small sorcery, we have kept our presence a secret from the vast majority of our human prey. Those few who are aware that we walk among them and their kind are, for the most part, not overly eager to talk about it. Sure, there have been those who, on occasion, have tried to get the word out, have tried to expose our little secret. But they’ve never been taken very seriously. It is such a fantastic tale, after all. And each of these individuals has been dealt with in due time. The secret must be guarded at all cost. Our very existence depends upon it. Nameless. It’s what we are. It’s what we’ve always been. And, with any luck, it’s what we’ll always be.

Who I'd like to meet:

Anyone doing anything creative and interesting.

Currently reading:

ANATHEM by Neal Stephenson. Just finished CHILDREN OF CHAOS by Greg Gifune, will be posting a review at Chizine and SFReader soon.

Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my new erotic horror novel THE 13TH is now in stores everywhere! I hope you'll check out this debauched and demonic horror ride!

There's even a website devoted just to the book, with an interactive map of the places and characters at www.the13th-horror.com.

Edward Lee called THE 13TH "A double-barreled shotgun blast of macabre entertainment -- an expert amalgamation of grotesquerie, eroticism, mystery, and pitch-black occult horror that no fan of the genre can miss."

And Gary A. Braunbeck said, "John Everson's The 13th is the first out-and-out horror novel in a long while to actually scare the **** out of me while reading it. It's stylish, extremely well-written, filled with richly-drawn characterizations, and boasts a labyrinthine plot worthy of Umberto Eco. Trust me -- this one will fry your nerves and break your heart."

"Some writers one admirers and others make one want to do as they do, or try. For me, Joe Pulver is of the latter type. His imagination is so vile so much of the time that it makes me giggle with amazement. And the prose so deadly visionary. I'm grateful that the pieces in this collection are those of a fellow horror writer who has raised the ante on what it means to be such a creature." - Thomas Ligotti

CHAU VAN TRUONG wants to lose everything and be rejected by everyone.  However in the endgame, I wish to rise from the ashes and reclaim my glory.  But my mother, MUONG THI VAN, believed in me and supported me through my struggles.  She will be rewarded by the first half million dollars to built her dream home in Vietnam from SECRETS KEPT movie.  THIS IS NOT ENOUGH but the pieces of fiscal pie from an impossible dream turned reality will grow exponentially as the hype and word of mouth spreads for SECRETS KEPT movie then I will gift her the world on a plate.  This woman who give me birth forbid me to work because she wanted me to focus on creating.  Her unconditional love is as palpable as my beating heart.  HOW COULD I SAY THANK YOU?  This is the reason I write this declaration.  I want the public to hold me accountable for what I vowed to do.  It is also a reminder to myself that I am a man of my word.  My lawyer has drawn up the contract stating that my mother gets the half million dollars before any money touches my hand.  If this promise is empty, SECRETS KEPT movie or my writing career did not come to fruition.  NOT MY FAULT!!!!

Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my 2nd horror no3vel SACRIFICE is now in stores everywhere, including Amazon.com! I hope you'll check out this debauched and demonic horror ride! Here are a couple reviews it's gotten so far:

“SACRIFICE is a full frontal assault on your senses. It is a dark, brutal, bloody and terribly frightening book. Everson went deep into some dark abyss to bring this book to the light of day.... I highly recommend SACRIFICE.”
    —Famous Monsters of Filmland

“John Everson manages in SACRIFICE to dispense buckets of blood, provide edgy perversity, and walk the tenuous tightrope of horror and sex without falling: It’s rather an amazing feat.” –Hell Notes
