Esta banda madrileña lleva tocando desde finales del 2004. Su personal acercamiento a la musica popular jamaicana se hace desde una propuesta original que suena fresca y compacta, con un directo demoledor donde se intercalan temas propios con los mas conocidos riddim jamaicanos. Reggae, raggamufin, dub y ska son los ingredientes con los que estos ocho musicos ofrecen un espectaculo que no te deja indiferente. En estos años ha realizado mas de cien conciertos por toda España compartiendo escenario con artistas como Muchachito bombo infierno, Concha Buika, Dover, Eskorzo, Los Aslandticos, Xosé Ripiau, Einstein. Han sido segundos clasificados (entre un total de 1.050 selccionados)en la VI edicion de FESTIMAD TASTE 09 además de ganar la mencion especial del publico. Raza Guaya y Einstein, crearon en 2006 el Movimiento Madrid Mestizo "M3", asociación que promueve la interaccion de grupos de diferentes tendencias en Madrid y el festival Mestisound. que ya lleva tres ediciones con muy buena aceptacion por parte del publico y la prensa. El periodico El país (febrero 2006) se hizo eco de su mensaje en un amplio reportaje. Raza Guaya ha editado Medicina Permanente (Ep. 2007), Sal a la Calle (Ep. LaFamille 2008) y su nuevo y esperado primer Lp, Fluye (LaFamille 2009) que podéis disfrutar desde el 16 de Mayo 09. This band from Madrid, has been on stage since the end of 2004, trying to strengthen the growing and successful reggae scene in Spain. Its approach to Jamaican popular music is made from an original proposal, singing in Spanish, our language, and offering a fresh and powerful live performance. Reggae, raggamufin, dub, ska (and some surprises) are the ingredients with which these eight musicians represent a show that won’t leave anybody indifferent. Throughout these years, performing more than 100 concerts, RAZA GUAYA has become one of the bands with the most solid and compact coverage of the young but promising music scene in Madrid. RAZA GUAYA created in 2006 the “Movimiento Madrid Mestizo” –M3- an association that seeks to promote interaction and workforce development of youth bands in Madrid and with it, the MESTISOUND festival. In its three years it has managed to fill the seats in all venues. After their second demo “Sal a la calle” (LaFamille 2008), Raza Guaya presents their first LP –“FLUYE”-, which is the result of hard work, and they are pleased and full of expectations of showing it to the audience. This LP will contribute its bit to reggae made in Castilian. Drinking from classic reggae but also from the most modern sounds coming from the island, as well as other styles like rock and jazz. They are proud to present it to those who dare to listen to –FLUYE- or spend time having fun and intense sensations in their concerts. They hold open recruitment for those who want to enjoy the sound and good vibrations of Raza Guaya.

Raza Guaya tiene un sonido personal cada vez mas depurado. A ello contribuye que nuestras letras sean en castellano y hablen de problemas cotidianos de ahora y siempre, de sensaciones personales o del respeto por nuestro entorno. Expresarnos en nuestro idioma y con el reggae como melodia, nos da la vida. Nosotros no ejercemos el rastafarismo ni intentamos demostrar que si, pero nos sentimos muy identificados con la reivindicacion y carga social que abarca esta musica. Hay una melodia escrita para cada sentimiento, y si no esta escrita se esta por escribir. Medicina permanente para nuestros sentidos. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .......... ...... ..........
