Raze & Lava Flo's sound pays respect to laid back, emotive, True Skool Hip Hop beats influenced primarily by New York producers Pete Rock, Large Professor, Q Tip, Diamond D and De La Soul; as well as British groups like Massive Attack & Portishead. Raze & Lava Flo are definitely one to remember, these talented individuals have been working on a joint project for the last 2 years with tremendous success and their debut album "It's Not Just About Roses" is now available. Raze & Lava Flo's sound is somewhere between Jill Scott & Massive Attack, picking up on the blend of Hip Hop, Classic Soul and Jazz, simply fresh and unique.
Raze & Lava Flo have enjoyed a number of highly successful gigs in Birmingham, as a headline act for the Women In Music Festival, at events hosted by Digital Animal, and at The Custard Factory. With their heart filled poetry and sultry, jazzy, dub beats they always mange to create a positive atmosphere, connecting with audiences through their music and performances.
Individually Raze & Lava Flo are just as strong which makes this team a perfect example of true synergy; independently they have worked with other artists. Lava Flo has been featured on a several tracks, including producer DJ Trax's "Used by You", "Slip Away" and tracks by Roeg Du Casq, whilst Raze has produced for up-and-coming artists such as Reggiemental, Gnostix and Deadline.
The duo enthusiastically collaborate with other musicians in the studio and on stage. The Raze & Lava Flo Live! band includes: Pritpal on Tabla (Sampad), Shan on Vocal Percussion (Shaanti), Joel on Guitar, Geri and Angel on Backing Vox (WIMF), Joe on Bass. They are also hoping to link up with, Mr Magoo on Percussion (Substance Live), Bobby G on Keyboard and a horn section.

Finalmente la 'stagione' è arrivata, grazie al mare e il sole che ci regala questa terra, per 3 mesi facciamo finta che nn ci sono problemi e che non ci manca niente. Finalmente si ritornano ad organizzare, nel nostro piccolo, le dance hall pirata. Se volete passare una serata dove si suona, si balla, c'è un bar piccolino ino ino dove uno si può accattare una birra e contribuire al nostro operato (questa frase me l'ha suggerita stik b), si appiccia il fuoco e se a qualcuno nn gli piace il reggae e s vo mett a sunà a chitarr con gli amici boyscout; questa non ve la dovete perdere..... Da qualsiasi parte del mondo voi arriviate... la festa è sula llitoranea costa SUD di Salerno, a Marina di Eboli: da Salerno immettetevi sulla strada litorale (dopo lo Stadio Arechi) andate sempre dritti, (dovete camminare abbastanza) a un certo punto c'è un cartello bianco sulla destra che dice "Benvenuti a Marina di Eboli" dopo 100 metri c'è un caseificio 'Santarosa' (se è aperto' accattatv a muzzarell che fà paur) di fronte c'è una strada che vi porta a mare, fermatevi, appizzate le recchie e venite, che a nui c fa piacer assai. Se invece venite dalla parte opposta,cioè capaccio agropoli, inzomma quelle città, la strada e semb chell con le indicazioni al contrario. Iatenamicizia per quest'estate aggiunge al suo nome 'pirates' pcchè nun vulimm rà nient a nisciun e nun vulimm appartnè a nisciun.
