As a young Leicester 4 piece indie band all aged 16/17 who have been around for just over a year. Razmataz have achieved what no other band of this age have came close to achieving! These lads have gained a huge amount of recognition in their home city and played various gigs in other towns and cities. They have been on the line up of some of the biggest local gigs in Leicester, and have supported some well known bands including Golden Silvers, Flamboyant Bella and The Screening. Razmataz have been described as Leicesters indie songsmiths, and on many occasions the best under 18 band in Leicester! A one in a thousand band with catchy melodies, prestigious stage presence and bucket loads of charm oozing out of their tight, confidence filled, memorable live performances.
Razmataz are currently managed by Trevor Locke of UK band agency 'Get Your Band On'.. Razmataz have high hopes for the future and rightly so!
"No city other than Leicester has produced
so many good bands in one place and no group of indie bands has produced higher quality songs than those based in Leicester, the editorial states.
Quoting examples of local talent such as The Chairmen, Autohype, Razmataz, The Utopians and The Heroes, the Leicester Webzine claims that UK labels should be turning their A&R telescopes towards Leicester, if they want to find the best songs being written in the UK.
The Editorial calls on A&R Reps for Labels to turn their attention to Leicester and get themselves down to gigs there, if they want to find the best indie talent in the UK. “There is a great wealth of talent in this city and if labels are not looking for bands here, they are clearly looking in the wrong places.”
The Editorial states.

"The Charlote was absolutely packed for a line up of some of Leicester's best indie bands. Razmataz opening the show started with their really fast, punchy intro song before kicking in with 'This Situation.' Fans went mad when the band played their moshable, rocky song, 'Betty Swollocks.' But the craziest audience reaction was ignoted when they realised Razmataz were playing their favourites such as 'Good Things' and 'Catfight.' Good things was the main hit and had everyone jumping up and down. The band ended on their drum and bass song 'Caught in the Glaze' with fans shouting Razmataz, Razmataz at the end of the set.."
