Indeed. I went to Jinja, Uganda and Webuye, Kenya. I went on behalf of the nonprofit for which I work. I was working child welfare for our sponsored children - doing assessments, home visits, video etc. Yadda yadda yadda. It was great, actually.

I saw this band tonight that I think you could like - Polka Dot Dot Dot. They happen to be heading home, which happens to be Olympia. They're sooo much fun, you should check 'em out if you get the chance.
Yeah, they were all pretty good. I especially loved "Frost / Nixon" because of the subject matter, but the other two were pretty good too. "Revolutionary Road" will take a couple of days to fully digest, but it went great lengths to once again prove that Kate Winslet is a goddess.
Oh, and "Slumdog Millionaire" is pretty clever as well.
I balanced all of that out with lots of completely trashy television..."The Real Housewives of Orange County (& New York)", "The Bad Girls Club", "Hey Paula", and every TV court show in existance...

Have you seen The League of Gentlemen? I'm only one episode in, but I'm sold...enough to bet some of my credibility recommending it to you after seeing so little of it.
