About me:
My partner and I are setting up a contact and support group for people in the Ballarat Victorian region that are HIV/AIDS affected.
It seems there is little support for HIV/AIDS affected people in this region.
We can offer personal, emotional and informational support for any people affected by this disease including friends and family of those with HIV/AIDS.
This support is available for everyone and anyone affected, irrelevant of race, religion, creed, sex, age, sexual preference, or any other differences, that might be out there.
Initially, blogging on this forum and emails to our address: hivgroup@iinet.net.au is available. Dependant upon demand or need in the future, I can offer a mobile number for further contact.
Whether you simply would like to chat (anonymously or not), obtain information, be referred to available services, find a doctor, or simply want to ask questions, this forum is available.
Additionally, I'd like to say that anybody that thinks they might have been exposed to the virus and may be uncertain about such, please don't hesitate to ask questions. Please note, there are NO silly questions in this forum.

Who I'd like to meet:
Any person in the Ballarat Region that have been affected by HIV/AIDS and have questions, need to know of available services, find a doctor, think they may have been exposed to the virus, or simply wish to chat.
