| About Red Ball Jets |
The Red Ball Jets, a high-energy band that will keep you entertained from start to finish. The Jets pride themselves in their repertoire of top dance and party songs, which include selections from Classic Rock, R&B, Modern and Alternative Rock cover tunes. Their tasteful selection of music keeps all ages rockin'. In February 2003 Budweiser True Music jumped on board with the Red Ball Jets after realizing what a polished group of musicians and entertainers they are. Starting this journey in North Central Ohio the Jets always stay true to the fans and clubs that got them started, giving them a beginning and a promising future.
The Band members are Kyle, Ron, Scott, Elvin and Jeremie. Lead singer Kyle Allison with talent, energy and love of the stage gives a truly unique performance. His many costumes and character changes will keep you in stitches and wondering how he can top each one. The dance floor truly ignites from start to finish. You won't want to miss the adventures of "Duckman". Kyle doesn't step on stage just to sing songs; he puts on a show. One you will never forget.
Scott Cain rocks "the tank" as drummer and percussionist. Scott is amazing on the drums and adds a spark of humor to the show. You won't want to avoid him, as he will catch you off guard throughout the night with his off the wall get-ups, hats and masks. Scott is the creation of the bands website: www.rbjets.com. Ron Meehan joins as a rocker bassist and back-up singer, with over 25 years of experience and 17 of those with Kyle. They not only played together in this band but in a variety of different bands as well. 1996 started the Red Ball Jet experience. This could be a reality show in itself. Most adventures leading back to some gut wrenching, bad bathroom mishap or the viewing of "Bubble Man", you had to be there!
Elvin Hood is a seasoned veteran on the saxophone and keyboard. He and Scott make up the backline of the band. Often imitated, never duplicated. They also collaborate on the "gig reports" for the website sharing all the memories from each show. Elvin's irreplaceable sound is the spice of the band. The sweet sound of his sax is not to be missed.
Last but definitely not least is Jeremie Allen. Jeremie began playing guitar at the age of eight. He plays anything from Blues, Country, Classic Rock and Alternative Rock. Along with his lead guitar playing, his lead vocals add another dimension to the sound of the Jets. Jeremie's unique experience with many people has given him the extra edge needed to sing those unforgettable love songs we all know. Jeremie is the baby of the band but you would never know it by the sounds of his guitar.
The crystal clear sound of the Red Ball Jets is credited to Jeff Carver of SoundQuest Productions and Ken Niece of Express Sound and Lighting. Russ Turner and Craig Dessecker round out the killer crew. Their experience and knowledge truly makes a difference in the sound of a Red Ball Jet show. Rick and Slim sixth members, roadcrew, photographer's, personal relations and so much more, they keep everything behind the scenes running so the show goes on without a hitch. The band crew is most definitely necessary and completes the package.
There are many fellow amazing bands and musicians but meeting all the new fans and our friend's makes the Red Ball Jets strive for the best show possible. The fans are amazing part and when arriving at the next gig that is one of the best parts, just talking and partying with them all. Simply, the Red Ball Jets are entertainment and a natural chemistry between these men is something special that produces an amazing performance.
The Red Ball Jets have worked with nationally known performers-- .38 Special, The Coasters, The Michael Stanley Band, The Menus, Watershed, Johnny Paycheck, 1964 and the Bay City Rollers. The band has performed more than three years at the worlds longest bar The Beer Barrel Saloon in Put-in-Bay, Ohio. Miss Ohio Festival in Mansfield and Snow Trails Ski Resort, The Den, Auglaize County Fair, Bremenfest, Coldwater Picnic, Lima Rib Cook-off, Lima Rally on the Square, Knoxville Iowa's sprint Car Nationals, Nick's Roadhouse in Port Clinton, Ohio, Mel's Crow's Nest in Marblehead, Ohio, Woosterfest, Maria Stein Country Fest, White Oaks Jamboree, Moosestock in Celina, Ohio and to over 6,000 at the 2005 Mansfield Rehab Center Chili and Wing Cook-off.
